What's worst are those clowns that exercise their mouths more than anything @ the gym. Today some retards were chatting it up for @ least a good 30mins. One guy was just sitting on the flat bench talking to his buddy, while his buddy was working out (his buddy would take long breaks inbetween sets to chat too). I see him do some leg pull ins once every 10 mins. He then did some leg lifts, chatted some more and left. What a waste of space.

jeffh 08-06-2010 11:22 PM

we got a kid that wears ED hardy muscle shirts gels his hair and then proceeds to text for 5 minutes between each little set

pisses me off the guy is bigger than me >_<

yeah it is for sure, tall guys have to focus on back and shoulders more then anything to look big, that is what i did, and i ate like a mutha fucka, but yeah focus on back and shoulders, you gotta get that v taper massive compares to others

I have the v but its hard for me to find shirts that fit me well. Like my shoulders are broad but im thin (5'11 150lbs) so shirts fit kinda weird.
Another thing is that doing a lot of back kinda pushes your head forward if you guys know what I mean?

so anywho, jeffh and I are doing incline bench minding out business. I load up 2 plates per (225lbs) and he walks over and says "you got that?" and i say "got what?" and he says "that" and points to the bench and i say "ya" and he says "man thats heavy" and i say "its not bad" and then power out 8 clean reps. and then load another 10 per on (245lbs) and crank out another set.

wtf. thats 2 dudes in 2 weeks that ive never talked to before who have either talked shit, or questioned what im lifting.

Knock him the fuck out buhahaha:thumbsup:

Nooooo doubt! I had a problem with a guy doing that before, and then i went behind him on a bench, and he stared me down like i was interrupting his workout. Dumb fuck

RRxtar 08-07-2010 01:30 PM

hah man this is getting interesting. my gym only has like 10 regulars in it. i dont ever talk to anyone other than jeffh.

i spotted one guy one time like a month ago. today i was at mexx and he works there and ran over and shook my hand like he was my best friend gave me a 2 for 1 free shirt. hah

SBTS!!!
I'm actually going down to seattle tom to see if I can pick up some decent ones that don't make me look like trailer trash
you guys know the policies for bringing supp. back from states to can?
I'm not planning on buying a lot just superpump and a tub of protein

Alpine50 08-07-2010 07:58 PM

Back from the gym solid work out hit 2 plates fir the first time on incline bench, but it was on the smith machine........ Anyone know if there's a hudge weight difference or how much weight gets taken off because I always here the smith isn't really the true amount of weight your doing so I'm not trying to get to happy about hitting this lift but a new max is always good :)

i think it takes a ton off, im my prime i did 4 and a half plates on flat smith once haha, and i can normally do 3 plates on flat for 5 reps in bulk mode and 800 calorie days, but that is pretty solid, i find that smith machine take all your stabilizers away so there is not much effort

Alpine50 08-07-2010 09:44 PM

Awwwwwww lol oh well I'm still pretty pumped I pulled it off I'll have to get someone to spot me and try the regular bench out. I do a plate 30 on regular bench.

hal0g0dv2 08-07-2010 10:24 PM

U mean 2 plates per side right, that is a major diff if u can only do 30. On normal bench
Posted via RS Mobile

Alpine50 08-08-2010 04:11 AM

i mean like a 45 on each side then 30's on each side thats just normal benching then i used the smith machine just for incline and threw on 2 45's on each side and was able to do it......so i dunno?? lol but i've never tryed to bench 2 45's normally......
