jack3d is alrite but the problem is you start to build a tolerance faster and it takes about 3 scoops 1mr ive went the full month and used 1 scoop the whole time |
Oh shiiiiiiiittttt this 1MR stuff is awesome, pushed me over the mini-plateau I hit recently. Had 3/4 scoop of the 1MR along with a teaspoon of Spirulina pre-workout. PB my squat with 2 plates for 225lbs and deadlift at 215lbs (5x5 for both). My legs are going to be sore tomorrow, haven't had that feeling in awhile. I never felt that extra oomph to add that extra to my squat and DL until today. |

sooooo... interesting night at the gym tonite.. about 3 weeks ago some skid looking dude started coming to my gym. bigger guy but not like 'muscle big' just a big skid with a shaved head. guy thinks hes pretty strong and pretty something special. anywho, today i was on the cable row machine, had my water bottle beside it. just moved the pin to do my 2nd warm up set. got up to grab my gloves and came back to the dude sitting on the machine. he knew i was using it and sat there for a couple minutes and then finally grabs the thing handle, and gets his buddy to help try to get it pulled back into starting position, and then he couldnt even do one rep. so, without saying anything, i casually sit down, pull my 10 warm up reps and then get up and stretch. guy walks over and gets up in my face and says "ya buddy, showoff!. im at the end of my workout, tomorrow im coming back in and ill do the whole stack and throw a 45 on there" so i think nothing of it and casually say "hey man no worries, no ones here to show off, everyones just here doing their own thing" as everyone in the gym starts to stop what they are doing and look over then he really pipes up and says "buddy i think you need to calm the fuck down!" and by then everyone was watching i cant remember exactly what i said after but i basically blew him off and while laughing i said something like "i am calm man, just doin my thing, maybe you should go do yours" and walked away then the guy does one more exercise, walks out of the gym, comes back in, and stands at the enterance watching me for a good 5 minutes. fucking skid. i hope hes benching tomorrow so i can show him how to do that too. haha |

Hey guys, I recently been injured. Sprained both my right ankle and right knee at the same time, and decided to kept playing basketball and soccer, now it seems to gotten worse, my doctor recommend me to go take physiotherapy, do you guys recommend any place in particular? Do you guys know anything else i can do at home to help my leg out? I ice my leg everyday and try not to put too much force on it. P.S. I live in East van, but travelling to Burnaby wouldn't be a problem. Cheers |

I'm lifting around the same, working on my grip mostly. I can power out about 5 on the first set (conventional grip) then have to switch to mixed for the last three reps. It gets progressively worse for the next 2 sets. |
yeah mixed grip i did 135x8 185x6 225x6 255x6 255x6 and finally 275x6 grip was what i think what was hurting my lockouts, i didnt think i was gonna hang on to the bar when i pushed my hips forward haha next week i guess :D |
