So I talked with a Wind rep, and he said he should have Note 2's this morning I'll find out for Wind peeps.

Depends on the tower, but these days, I get AT LEAST 3mbps everywhere. 6 months ago, I can only get 1.5mbps at my home, now I can get 3. So WIND is still upgrading, and the speed increase is noticeable.

signed up for the Note 2 pre order and didn't even get an email.

damn. i finally did a speed test on my throttled data (been going over 5gb with a few days left in the cycle for the past few months) and i was at 0.4 mbps down and 0.18 mbps up. not sure if location had anything to do with it but it was a bit brutal :( (i was at the brentwood steve nash fitness world)

Great plans for those who are looking to jump ship (particularly those from Mobilicity) to pick up a Note 2 or Galaxy S3.

the unlimited wish 25 doesn't have unlimited data. that's a huge turnoff.

Wind hasn't had unlimited data for that cheap since they first launched. I got in the last time they did it for cheap, and it was $29. Wind isn't looking to steal Mobilicity customers, they're going after the big boys.

Talk about crap. Sigh at least the Wish40 is an great deal.

Yeah that 2012 back to school unlimited data for $29 was an awesome deal that probably won't come around again for awhile.

They put me on a retention plan that's called irresistable35 and it's hella awesome.

Unlimited calling to USA, Canada wide numbers
Unlimited international texting

pretty boss I can just text Hong Kong friends without every worrying about a thing....They just can't text back as carelessly

for the guys that jumped shipped from moblicity hows the reception and data speed? moblicity is really pissing me off lately with slow ass data speeds fb/ web won't load and not really improving much reception wise.

Really? How you go about that? Is it the wish40 minus 5 bucks?

I doubt it'll come back ever. Wind's needed to get as many customers as possible in the first couple years in order to generate revenue and get as much word of mouth going as possible--you'll notice that a lot of people like me who've got the old plan are saying things like "Even at $40, it's still a good deal".

I was offered that.. but I have no need to call anyone in rest of Canada or US. I use Whatsapp to txt to ppl in HKG..

so my $29 OhCanada! plan is good.. so save myself $6.. haha

Heads up for current Wind Customers who want to upgrade their phones and still with an existing Windtab balance.

If you want the Note2 or S3 it's for new activations only. I.E you have to get a new phone number and a new plan.

If you want specifically those phones you'll have to buy the phone outright.

makes sense. With companies like these it's expected to have bought the phone outright and get a cheap mobile plan
