Tried to use the home trust card the first time today and found out......CAN'T TAP! God damn, I need to tap that shiet

can we change the PIN on that yet?

Nope.. you can not change pin.. HomeTrust doesnt have the ability once the card is made.
Already called them the week after my card came in

So, used the Home Trust today. Went to Trader Joe's. First time using the card. Put the card into the chip reader and boom, instant approval.......... no PIN, nada.

Then, I go to Fred Meyer. Did same, but this time, it asked for the PIN. I got it wrong the first time, lol. Second time, I did it right. Next, Costco gas...... had to punch in PIN. Went into the warehouse and same as Trader Joe's, no PIN required.

Anyway, so glad it all worked out. So, in a nutshell, FUCK YOU, Amazon/Chase! Hee hee, hue hue, pew pew.

read that the ability to change PIN was coming...but knowing them they're probably still swamped with apps

I wAnder why your approval is taking so long. It's like the millions of Canadians who applied for this card were approved in alphabetical order and your last name starts with a "Z".

Got my Home Trust Visa today, exactly 2 months after application.

The sticker on it with the # to dial for activation was shit though. Peeled it off and it left the residue all over it so I used my wife's nail polish cleaner to try and get it off. I guess it was a little too strong for the coating on the card though so now 90% of the card is a dull finish while the little corner I didn't rub down is glossy. Oops.

I did not get an email....but I logged into my Rogers Bank online account and I noticed the Card Number has changed. I assume this is the new card.
