People keep saying where were the forwards?

Do you know what its like to play a catch up of 2 or 3 goals when it's only been 20 - 30 minutes?

Boston could just sit and chill in their defensive box and exploit our non-existent goaltending.

Do you remember people who went home a period or more early for GAME 7 OF THE FREAKIN SCF!!!!

Thats because after goal #2 or 3, everyone knew the game was done. (and needed to get out of dodge before all hell broke loose)

Please, I agree Luongo was the best goalie we ever had, but he lost me when his ego started getting bigger than his actual game. I may root for the Canucks purely for geographical reason (hometown team) but in all honesty, I can't root for all the cockiness the team and its fanbase has.

I love Kesler too and respect his skill as a player, but all that diving and prima-donna complaining afterwards, is really wearing me thin.

It's just not my kind of hockey or the hockey I wish to support.

Schneider won't have to. He'll take us to Game 4 SCF :troll:

So from Hondaracer's point of view, we're getting swept? :troll:

Action heating up on the Luongo front.

Apparently a mysterious 3rd team has joined the mix. I'm assuming Winnipeg is one of them simply because of what's going on with Pavelac

b0unce. [?] 06-21-2012 03:45 PM

I think if Winnipeg is going to sign a goalie, they will probably stick with Pavelac. Jets arent close to a playoff spot, so they might as well continuing rebuilding and giving a chance for Pavelac to gain more xp.

Brb, scoring 5 goals in a game and sill losing.
Brb, letting 5 goals in, getting eliminated, and making a joke about it in the post game interview

b0unce. [?] 06-21-2012 03:51 PM

jayare604 and Hondaracer....

I'm calling that we'll keep both goalies. Either we're going to insert a rookie into the line up this year to fill up some forward slots. I think Canucks news wise, it'll be a slack free agency and draft

Tim Budong 06-21-2012 03:53 PM

heh

@strombone1 Wait a minute...... Luongo is getting traded?!?!? Where the HELL have I been?

Mike Oxbig 06-21-2012 04:05 PM

lol @ ppl thinking luongo will be traded he can easily fuck this city over and say "no i dont want to be traded" :troll:

i can live with that :)

spideyv2 06-21-2012 04:07 PM

I rather us trade 1 of them for an asset that could help us. For example, a top 6 forward, top 4 RS D, etc

Hondaracer 06-21-2012 04:40 PM

Keeping both of them is the best possible outcome for a cup but most people have written that notion off and Luongo isn't going to bring back anything of substantial value IMO even though I think alot of people are underating his market value

As for the "do you know what it's like to play 2 down" jayare, I've always maintained that goes both ways with goalie and skaters, yes when you allow two goals quickly and put the entire team back on their heels because they know they cant let another goal happen, it also effects the goalie knowing he has little to no scoring support so from that point on he has to be perfect

Everyone plays up tight and we lose, it's been a while since I can remember the Canucks mounting a huge comeback

Just a rumour a buddy told me he had heard... I've read it on Twitter since so I guess its out there. No idea where it came from or if there's any merit to it. Just thought I'd share.

OGCStrike 06-21-2012 06:20 PM

if the canucks manage somehow to acquire Nail Yakupov...

Tim Budong 06-21-2012 06:45 PM

Nail Yakupov isnt happening

spideyv2 06-21-2012 06:49 PM
