Just pre-ordered the 32gb Nexus7 from NCIX, can't wait to receive it

Nexus 7 or 10. Can't decide. Nexus 10 looks like a pile of metal bunched together but specs are pretty good. On the other hand n7 is good but small and weaker specs obviously

New prices in the States. $199/$249 for 16/32gb. I think for 10" I'm gonna stick with my Asus Transformer Prime. The resolution was the tempting part but the ugliness turned me off.

The back kind of looks reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 10.1

I'd really really hope it's not of similar build because that tablet had most horrific build quality I've seen before. It was built like a fisher price toy.

tried to purchase a nexus 7 on craigslist, 4/5 of the products i've seen had defects.

Really wanted a nexus 7, sorry asus

you're right, they are covered under warranty, but if I can't even find a tablet without defects, it really reflects the build quality. Stay away from products that are falling apart =P

such as shame cause I got hyped for it lol! I know this is quite sad, but I wish some stores were more like the apple store. Face to face problem diagnostics. There are pages of asus disputes over warranty issues and sending out products for repair :banghead:

It's not guaranteed. Apple has already been losing market share to Android tablets overall... The mini will definitely do well with the people who buy everything apple sells, but for people who actually take price and other things into consideration, maybe not so much

Played with one. Found it quite laggy.

8GB can only be bought directly from Google. The 199/249 price point is the US pricing. CDN is $10 higher.
