My Nexus 7 external speaker just blew.
Was using it normally, then I heard a pop for a notification sound. Then no sound at all.
I restarted it and now anything above 50% volume produces noticeable distortion and buzzing.
The thing was working perfectly for the past 11 days.
Good thing I'm still within return period for Future Shop.

Anyone else have this problem? Apparently it's been reported on TheVerge and other sites.

Hey gang got a file transfer issue...when I try to transfer files (eg mobi, emulators etc) to my Nexus 7 it keeps telling me the file type is not supported in this device (with the exception of mp3s) and wants me to skip the process...

Any solution?

I would go tf700 if budget isnt an issue, tf300/nexus 10 if it is. Asus build quality and support are leagues ahead of Samsung. Does Samsung even have ICS on their original galaxy tabs yet?
