Has anyone bluetooth tethered from their iphone to their nexus7 ok?

do they normally have display units at LD? I was at LD in kerrisdale yesterday and didn't see any

Why not turn use iPhone hotspot and Nexus 7 just use "wifi" from the iPhone?

No display units, we are having enough trouble keeping them in stock - I will usually show customers my personal unit if I'm working them.

I have the iPad 2 and thinking about selling it and grabbing the Nexus 7.

Thoughts?

Less of a battery drain if I use bluetooth.

Setup sequence:
On iphone ensure you have hotspot turned on, and bluetooth enabled. Then goto your iphone bluetooth and make your handset discoverable.

From your nexus 7 goto settings / bluetooth / touch your iphones name to initiate pairing. Then on your iphone accept the pairing and finally from the nexus accept the pairing.

Now with wifi off on your nexus 7 touch your paired devices name and it wil connect to your iphone. On your phone you'll see the bluebar at the top telling you the is one connection to your iphone.

If you do anything on the iphone such a restore or backup you will likely knock your bluetooth connected nexus 7 off. But other than that it seems like a pretty stable connection.

The adhesive is actually really really strong. You need to put in a lot of effort to take it off. It definitely won't come off while using it regularly.

just wondering if anyone has bought a stylus to use their nexus7 to write notes. The cheap stylus i got on amazon sucks. I'm mainly using it to draw/ take notes, so i need a really decent one for a low price ! Thanks

Does the case feel awkward when you're holding it? The N7 feels very comfortable when it's naked.

yeah.. the gf won't even take it out of her house or even places with no carpet because she's scared of dropping it haha. Have to find a case she'll start using it properly.

i don't mind paying for those stupid bookcase that's overpriced as f*k.. only issue is it takes close to 3 weeks to get here =.= any local place that carries decent cases that doesn't take me 3 weeks to get?
