That's what I did when I bought an iPhone 4S lol. They met up at the bank, I got the phone and they verified the cash. If they don't want to meet a bank something's probably up

of coz a lot of ppl got the 2 week wait time reduced to 21st.. a lot of orders were cancelled from ppl that used same cc and ordered multiple orders.

as for iphone getting locked blah blah.. all the iphones you get from the apple stores are the same.. they don't get locked the moment you stick a sim card in it.. they get locked when they attach the imei to your fido/rogers/bell/telus/virgin accounts... all phones leaving the apple stores will be attached to a Canadian number.. i asked the apple store manager and that's what she said until further notice from head office. by attaching it to your account.. it'll be locked from there... atm doesn't seem like there's a way around not getting your phone attached to your account... even if you get it for say fido without a contract... they'll just do a hardware change in your profile to attach the imei to your account hence locking the phone... unless the imei is already in the carrier's database ie getting from wirelesswave tbooth futureshop bestbuy.. then the phone is pre locked.

Reading the specs I can see that Apple added some useless stuff in the iPhone 5 ad by Steven. When you compare it, it looks like that the S3 is faster but no one still hasn't compared the new CPU chip against the S3

I think the first weekend 4S sales will still be higher (they moved 4 million in 3 days). I think Apple ran out of stock at 2 million so they won't break the 4S record (although who knows how many they have next week).

I just spoke to Rogers and they are now hearing that it sounds like Apple might delay the phones to ship until Oct1 for some reason. The guy I was speaking to was a real idiot tho.
