I was going to pre order one, but my creditcard is in the car and I'm too lazy to walk there.

lol did anyone see the price for the 30 pin adapter? 45 bucks before tax :fuckthatshit:

I was going to order from apple.ca but don't really see much of a market for flipping so going to use my fido dollars and order from Fido. Btw Fido accounts is down until 3am pst so I assume pre-orders will start once the account page is back up from maintenance.

Also USB is generally not considered efficient for streaming audio. It works, yes, but USB makes no real-time guarantees. Meaning if they had just micro-USB, my car stereo might stutter while playing a song.
Most Android tablets side-step this issue by having a separate type D (mini) HDMI port on the phone. Since HDMI doesn't do power or data transfer, this means you need two connectors. A design that Apple probably doesn't want to consider.
There are other solutions out there, for example MHL would milk the necessary bandwidth out of the Micro-USB form-factor; but for all I know there are licensing restrictions preventing Apple from using it [cheaply].

guess i was wrong.. it did change to delivery time 2 weeks now

we are in delivery zone 1 says the page.
zone 1 is est 21st sept.
zone 2 22nd
zone 3 etc etc.

if my preorder email says "Ships: Delivers 9/21-9/25", it means im part of the first batch and wont be delayed to 2 weeks?

I wonder if it means 2 weeks from today....? or 2 weeks delay FROM the Sept 21 date? aka 3 weeks?

just a heads up , the fido reservation system for iphone5 is up and running NOW like an hour before they scheduled it.

Just placed my order, only 16gb showed up.

So do you have to pay for the phone upon picking it up from the store or does Fido remove the money before shipping? And when and how do you apply the fido dollars? The last time I did an upgrade, Fido sent the phone to my house and put the amount to my monthly bill.
