Paranoid Android with Franco kernel. A fun ROM that lets you maximize the fact that you've got a high-resolution screen. It's almost like having a tablet in your hand.

PA with PA kernel.. haha

Xylon with Franco or Faux kernel.

Paranoid android with its kernel. I had faux but kept getting random reboots. He said it was my setup so I did a complete wipe and now all is good with pa stock. May try his kernel again.but leaning towards harsh or motley.

just installed 4.2.2 OTA. should be rolling out soon for people now who isn't rooted.

Anyone else downloading the PA updates through the goo.im app? Anyone else noticing that download speeds are WAY way down in the last week or two?

With my Gnex I could download the rom at about the same speed on my PC or on the phone. Now, I'll set it to download, look five minutes later and it's like...20% done.

I tried PA last night and I didn't like the tiny tiny tiny menus when you open Settings.

So i decided to use LiquidSmooth.

Goo speed largely fluctuates all the time so this is pretty normal.

4.2.2 OTA has been pushed for at least a week now.

Anyone else think the camera on this phone sucks? It seems to have trouble focusing on an image and taking a decent picture with the flash on.

Mine just likes to constantly focus. I believe there is a fix on xda that makes the camera much better.

For some time now...

i downgraded the radio from .33 to .27 just to see if the data stalls still occur.

So far so good, no stall on 3G or LTE

im on 4.2.1 xylon

is data stall when data just doesn't work until you do a reboot?

Nope, its when it shows you have full bars, but not getting any connectivity
So far so good on .27 radio

hmmm i think i experience it too. but I usually just reboot to get it back. super annoying though.

also, sometimes takes like 5 seconds before it downloads anything.

ANYONE else going to try the first release of the Ubuntu Touch Developer Preview?
It has the following functions:
1 - Shell and core apps
2 - GSM network connection (GN and N4)
3 - Phone and SMS (GN and N4)
4 - Wifi
5 - Camera (front and back)
6 - ADB connection

N7 and N10 also works, just no GSM connection and SMS...

Hmm. I think I'll be downgrading my radio. Been having some problems tethering via wifi on my laptop. Wonder if that's the cause.

It is kernel specific but it seems to support all the big ones, stock, CM, Franco, Faux, etc
