Completely agree! Talk about mismanaging an asset that is supposedly being relied upon to fulfill a greater role in the future of this hockey club.

I am not sure whether its WD or JB that decides who gets sent down and called up, but either way someone isn't picking up on the obvious. He's an 18yr old kid who is lost and needs to go to an environment that is away from the spotlight where he can learn the basics of being a professional athlete. As was mentioned, let the guy gain some confidence, find himself hockey-wise and eventually revisit him as an option with the big club.

What has become overly apparent over the course of this road trip is that this club has little to no direction. Its time to blow it up! Were stuck with the Sedins and I'm willing to live with that given their track record. But looking at guys like Edler makes my blood boil. The last 2 to 3 years, he has been an absolute drain of team resources. NTC, you say!? Fuck him! Find a way to move him. His value may not be very high, but at this point its about cutting our losses and restocking the cupboards with prospects. While there are more players I'm sure a lot of you would like to add to this list, I'll just leave it with Edler on my part. Someone wanna chime in on Eriksson...!?

In his defense, Derek Roy was always a pretty good player. He wasn't game breaking but was good for almost ppg for most of his career
