word is that columbus is planning to snag b.mo |

yeah i dont think gillis will sign him unless its for dirt cheap, which i doubt mo will do.. |
supposedly the deal Columbus has for bmo is, 8mil for 3 years... about 2.6 per season.. which isn't that bad, considering the inflation in the nhl. And the guy can still notch 50 points a season with decent line mates.. he started last season very well; until his injuries caught up to him. if we keep Bmo, and get a HOSSA type player, moe would be a good fit. [relatively cheap]and we could possibly have 2 lines that can score. Moe/Kessler + Hossa + Blank = THE NEW EXPRESS Sedin 1 + Sedin 2 + Blank[Anson Carter?..It did work b4...] = Boring, but good. Seriosuly, i would have thought Carter would be back by now... The Sedin experiment hasn't been working very well... |
I just wish the Sedins can get a real linemate to play with instead of these Pyatts and Carters. They put up basically 1point per game playing with these bums. Can you imagine if they had a real threat on their line. Ah wells 1 more day! |
Please Gillis get Kristian Huselius ...pretty please ... |
^^ I hope not. If we did I hope not for that much. That guy is softer then tofu |
He doesn't play physical...doesn't play D...but has scoring talent. I don't know if he would fit in here very well, though. |
On a different note, I downloaded the Pratt and Taylor interview with Linden the other day and listened to it while I was walking around Tokyo. Just hearing the man talk about his career...man, I was tearing up all over the place. I bet all the Japanese people were wondering what the heck was going on... "He'll play in game 7...he'll play on crutches if he has to!" |

Moe's 90% gone. About time. |

it would be a huge huge mistake if we dont consider getting this guy. |

im not surprised at all. i already said last year that he was gonna get snatched up, no problem. he may not be a 1st liner and according to most fans, caught a ride on WCE, but the fact of the matter is, morrison is a very solid 2nd line center. very well rounded, plays even strength, PP and PK. speedy and is aggressive. if his injuries has healed properly, he'll regain his prime playing days again. i liked him a lot. sure gonna miss him. |
Hossa and demitra.. I'm still betting on those two. |
I'd rather have Mo back than Nazzy. |

Hossa's 29 or 30... I'd put my stock in HOSSA, since hes still in his prime. |
I'll rather not see Mo or Naslund return. That's the problem with this team, they keep players who should be traded or let go. It's time to move on, get some fresh faces in the lineup. |
Forget Demitra...I'd rather have Rolston. Shit...McKenzie on TSN right now just said Tampa has put a hard offer to Rolston and he'll decide whether to take the offer or wait until tomorrow. |

Living in Calgary and seeing and hearing him play, trust me, we don't want him, he SUCKS. He is NOT what the Canucks need right now (basically another Sedin type/level player that possibly does even less). If you think the Sedins are a disappointment, you ain't seen nothing till you seen this guy. |
do we really need more softies in our team? demitra is injury prone also, dont forget about that and I would not pay 8-9 million for a player like hossa |
we should just wait till next season or go via the trade avenue. |
