And I agree, the Oilers look deadly.

lol, injury prone? Don't pull facts out of your ass...

flawless 07-01-2008 02:30 PM

Rolston? The guy is 34 years old and going to sign at 4years/20 mil? Fuck that. I'd rather take Sundin for 2years/$20 mil anyday.

stuff99 07-01-2008 02:31 PM

we signed darcy hordichuk yay

Not to mention rolston is the same age as Naslund who only score 4 more points than he did.

Overpay for Rolston or Underpay for Naslund.......

but since Rolston is signed now, i can hope for the other scenario

[ jay ] 07-01-2008 02:33 PM

Forget these free agents....I wanna know if Prab Rai is gonna play this season lol....

We have argueably the best Goalie in the World, A strong Defence. 2 Top 20 scorers who are making like half of wat they should be making. And a shitload of money to spend.

Sundin worth 10mil? No.
Is it a bad signing? No.
Will he help this team? Yes

But hopefully Sundin makes a decision quick so we dont miss out on the boat with other players that could potentially get signed.

exactly. The Nucks defense/goaltending as a combo are top 5 in the league, arguably top 3. Add a goal scorer or two, primarily someone to play with the twins, and you have a team that has as good a chance at taking the cup as anyone else. These people saying the Nucks need to mail it in and rebuild are absolute morons.

"Injury prone"? Not really...

dont know alot about this guy. He was never ever ever in his career a scorer. Averages 5 points a season. Takes alot of penalties so great...... Im guessing a Avery type player that cant score or do much of else. Bad signing!

willystyle 07-01-2008 02:41 PM

who's darcy hordichuk?

AX.Deadpool 07-01-2008 02:42 PM

Dont worry. it all apart of GILLIS's 2 year plan.

I just have no idea how the fk hordichuck fits into any plan at all.
replacement for isbister n ritchie i guess?

Ch28 07-01-2008 02:42 PM

Oh great...more 4th line plugs

6:34PM Vancouver Canucks sign UFA forward Darcy Hordichuk to a two-year deal

Seamo 07-01-2008 02:43 PM

FUCK YOU CANUCKS! jesus christ GILLIS is doing what Nonis did 2 years ago with cans. this is pretty much straight up fucked up when Gillis has 20 mil to spend and nonis had none back then

You're going bank your Stanley Cup hopes on a 37 year old? And i'm wrong and you're right, he's still in his prime and not injury prone.

Ouch, more 4th liners eh.

Blues i think just matched the Canucks offer. so no him.

411ken 07-01-2008 02:47 PM

What's wrong with you guys? I wouldn't mind seeing Darcy play 4th line with Brown or something rather than Cowan, isbister, ritchie... you guys need to calm down just a bit....

stuff99 07-01-2008 02:48 PM

i was being sarcastic about the darcy signing with my yay...

sundin is anything but injury prone. hes consistant. u can rag on his age but not about his consistancy and health
