Tucker for $2.25 is a decent deal but remember, it's not always just about money. Maybe they don't want to play here. So while we could easily pay the money, maybe they don't want to come to Vancouver.

Of course alot of factors goes into the players decision. My anger is purely out of frustration that every team in our division )except Calgary) is getting better yet we remain the same. Last year was like this too.

edmonton is going to be a monster next season unless they majorly fucked up!

If I remember right, Wellwood + Sundin was a pretty good line combo for awhile.

Young player for money and a second rounder...not a terrible deal. He's probably not worth $2.5 but with offer sheets, you want to overpay just enough so the team won't match. Good thing he only spent $2.5 though...I definitely would not trade a 1st and 3rd.

Auldy to Ottawa for $1m for 2 years. Good for him. Hope he gets his career back on track. You know Gerber isn't reliable enough to get all the starts.
