One thing everyone should know about Pyatt is he's moving much faster than he seems to be. He has a different stride than just about anyone I've ever seen. There's a reason Demitra wants to play with him, as did the Sedins last year. He may not be a point a gamer but he's a solid player IMO.

I think Demita should be on the team a little bit longer and actually do more of what he was brought here to do (score and create chances) before he starts telling Vigneault who to play with him and assessing our talent for us.

we score on the open net and if demitra doesnt hit the post its a new game. game of inches last night but overall i didnt think we played that bad. miller looked shaky last night.

I love how a new incoming player requesting to play with another suddenly becomes "telling the coach who to play with him and assessing our talent for us". The leaps of logic around here are monumental at times. Seriously, some of you people should be competing in Olympic long-jumping. Bloody brilliant.

What I saw of it, we didn't play badly... Buffalo was just that good. There's a reason they're 4-0, perfect on the PK, and have only allowed 5 goals in those games.

I was off my couch standing and swearing at my TV when we were down 1-0, he comes out of the penalty box, skates like he's in cement in on a 2-on-1 with D.Sedin, defenceman lays down and instead of going in on Miller or trying at *least* a saucer pass to Sedin he takes a weak wrist shot that hits the jersey of the defenceman (who, keep in mind, is LAYING ON THE ICE) and goes into the corner, then just skates to the bench! Seriously WTF?

I wasn't saying he was the greatest skater. I was merely pointing out the fact that he's moving a lot faster than he seems to be.

There's a lot of things we don't see as fans, and who are we to judge if year after year our top performers want to play with Pyatt?

He's a big body that draws the D away from players who are better at putting the puck in the net.

^ not really that suprising because any team that would have any interest in him would probably be watching his performance closely, and seeing how he was floating and having so many questions regarding his conditioning I bet alot of teams would rather stay away.

Not to mention odds are he will most likely be one of the first call-ups from the farm so any team interested could grab him for dirt cheap on the way back up
