Looks like he's nearly PPG at the minor level...probably just to bolster the Moose lineup since Raymond is going to play up here this season.

Who knows...maybe Mike Keane can whip this guy into shape and he could be a decent call-up if someone gets injured.

I suppose Mitchell has some leadership qualities but overall I don't think he deserves it. He's been hated on by the fans before and he's bad. Currently I can't think of a suitable captain for the Canucks. Maybe Morrison (i'm not sure if he'll be staying since Naslund left) but definitely not Mitchell.

I'd only trade Luongo if he doesn't resign by 09/10. That and the hype with Schneider sounds about right. No sense in having two #1 goaltenders capable of playing starter. Perhaps by the time Schneider's ready, Brodeur will be done with, and we'll shoot offers to Lamoriello?

yeah, I for one, am glad he's one of Canucks' defensemen. He's pretty clutch when it comes to saving goals.

Those years are worthless now. If you think fans hate Mitchell because of the years he played for Minny rather than love him for SAVING OUR ASSES so many times (he's pulled goals off the line three times...that I can remember)...then you, sir, are stupid.

Hmmm...more Filppula offer sheet rumors. The Wings have $4m in cap space. Signing Filppula most likely means bye-bye to the older vets (Chelios, Drake, McCarthy) so it remains to be seen what they'll do.

its already been said that any GM would put there personal difference's aside for the good of the team. Bobby Clarke, Kevin Lowe are examples of hated Gm's but every1 still deals with them.
