Tonight: Cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers. Periods of rain beginning overnight. Low plus 3.

Tuesday
Day: Periods of rain. Amount 10 to 20 mm. High 7.
Night: Rain at times heavy. Amount possibly reaching 40 mm. Windy. Low 6.

Well the great thing about rain and the warmer weather is that the parking lots will no longer be ice rinks...

Don't want to PK.

No problems when I took my usual 8:00am and 5:00pm trains. Buses on the other hand...

Broadway station was a nightmare today, apparently. >15 minute wait to get on to go DT.

Depends on the bus you're taking. 135 and 160 were clear this morning.

hotjoint 01-06-2009 07:32 AM

Is it just a coincidence a bimmer was chosen to have 3-Seasons?

Synaptik 01-06-2009 12:48 PM

im starting to see the roofs of my neighbours houses peeking out from under the snow. this is a great sign.

Supafly 01-06-2009 12:50 PM

i live on a corner block in burnaby, 2 corners are somewhat flooded already....we had the backhoe come-by twice to dig out the sewers...i hope the snowbanks keep the water on the road.

JSALES 01-06-2009 02:18 PM

yes, finally raining a lot now!

caronimo 01-06-2009 02:31 PM

slush, slush and more slush

tonyvu 01-06-2009 02:38 PM

holly fuck talk about big ass puddles on the streets... went through at least 3 pairs of socks today -.-'

CaptFiero 01-06-2009 02:54 PM

So who wants to guess on where the worst flooding is going to be. Joking with a friend, but if it gets as bad he thinks it will, Richmond pump stations are going to be running WOT, and if one fails, all the low areas of Richmond will be re-named "Lake Richmond" He does maintance to the city emergecny generator stations. So he all too aware of the condition of some of the older machines.

Peturbo 01-06-2009 02:56 PM

Middle of side streets with tire tracks are still too fucking high.
Doesn't seem like its melting at all. That's the only thing keeping my car from being drivable.

lilaznviper 01-06-2009 02:58 PM

people need to shovel the slush off the sidewalk

people need to move the snow near their house to the water will go somewhere
