Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Metro Vancouver with 50 to 70 millimetres of rain expected today and tomorrow. |
i'll wait a cpl days before driving, there's now the issue of flooding. |
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGfvy...eature=related Is it just a coincidence a bimmer was chosen to have 3-Seasons? |
im starting to see the roofs of my neighbours houses peeking out from under the snow. this is a great sign. |
i live on a corner block in burnaby, 2 corners are somewhat flooded already....we had the backhoe come-by twice to dig out the sewers...i hope the snowbanks keep the water on the road. |
yes, finally raining a lot now! |
slush, slush and more slush |
holly fuck talk about big ass puddles on the streets... went through at least 3 pairs of socks today -.-' |
So who wants to guess on where the worst flooding is going to be. Joking with a friend, but if it gets as bad he thinks it will, Richmond pump stations are going to be running WOT, and if one fails, all the low areas of Richmond will be re-named "Lake Richmond" He does maintance to the city emergecny generator stations. So he all too aware of the condition of some of the older machines. |
Middle of side streets with tire tracks are still too fucking high. Doesn't seem like its melting at all. That's the only thing keeping my car from being drivable. |
people need to shovel the slush off the sidewalk people need to move the snow near their house to the water will go somewhere |
