That 14 game road trip is going to make or break their season, especially at the tail end of the season. I can see everyone crying about this schedule, and they thought last year was bad!

Oh man.. just noticed that Ovech'king' coming to town...I saw him the first time he was here and boy was it worth it... I'll probably miss going to any games this year though due to saving up for something bigger than a game lol.. But if you can splurge, i'd recomment seeing Ovechking

SumAznGuy 07-15-2009 12:46 PM

A few points about this schedule. The game road trip is because of the Olympics.
There are quite a few afternoon games. 8 I think.
For times zones, the 09/10 schedule is one of the better schedules in the last few years. No odd time zone road trips like last year.

Gumby 07-15-2009 01:12 PM

Wow, both Crosby AND Ovechkin are coming to GM Place (excluding the Winter Olympics)...

Harvey Specter 07-15-2009 02:08 PM

Get to play the Leafs twice again, sweet.

InvisibleSoul 07-15-2009 02:17 PM

Wow... the Olympics sure made for some damn long road trips and home stands...

Hondaracer 07-15-2009 03:04 PM

Lu gonna be on the road then have to come home to be the starter :)

RRxtar 07-15-2009 04:21 PM

if we go .500 thru the big road trip, i think we might have a pretty solid year, schedual wise.

big home stands in december-january and then 10 of the last 15 games are at home.

murd0c 07-15-2009 04:25 PM

FU T-O AND YOUR 4PM AWAY GAMES!!!!

Harvey Specter 07-15-2009 04:42 PM

Fucking hate games that start at or before noon and of course the 4:30 starts.

It shouldn't be a problem. The probability of the team winning has nothing to do with the geography of the game anyways as to what team they're playing.

14 straight games is just 14 in an 82 game season. And plus, it's not like these guys aren't pampered to death while away, from their mode of travel to their accomodation.
