as well does it have any BELL branding on the exterior?

It'll most likely be completely free from any branding.

How the fuck did u manage to grab that deal. :fullofwin:

LiquidTurbo 07-19-2011 09:03 PM

Negotiation and a willingness to give them a chance. So many people hate on Bell no reason. This is my 4th year with them. Then had some good promotions in the past when everyone was on the Fido/Rogers bandwagon.

Now if only I could negotiate a way to get a SGS2.. my iPhone 4 feels... inadequate. lol.

Gerbs 07-19-2011 10:26 PM

I don't think I will get that greatof a plan

I had Bell and I will agree their price for plans are great....however when I had Bell my phone would not even work in my room or when I was on the Island...

I switched to Fido and although crappy phone selection I pay $47 for exactly what you get it seems....I dislike Bell also because it seems i did not win 1 of the 10 S2's they were giving away ahaha

I am just trying to decide if I should go for a Bell/Virgin one or the newegg unlocked one now

Gh0stRider 07-20-2011 09:26 AM

If your try to order online it makes u do a 30-day contract...so how does the super-tab thing work then?

it might be cheaper to cancel a contract with Virgin then bell (based on 3-year contracts)

EDIT: found my own answer it is the same as Bell

. . . Rate Plan Term is finished, you must pay the greater of (i) one hundred dollars ($100); or (ii) twenty dollars ($20) per month for each month remaining in your Rate Plan Term up to a maximum of four hundred dollars ($400) (plus applicable taxes). . .

Gh0stRider 07-20-2011 10:47 AM

With supertab you just pay off what you owe. No cancellation fee.
10% of what what u pay per month goes towards paying the tab off.

Krazynuck, pm me for more info.

hows the uk version?

660 taxes in?

Psykopathik 07-20-2011 12:36 PM

im confused.

so i can buy the SG2 at retail $ from virgin @ $599 with a 30 Day plan, and get $25 AMEX gift card?

after the 30 days are up, no cancellation BS fees right?

Quote:

Remember earlier today when we noted that Virgin Mobile was going to give those interested Canadians a “special offer” to be kept updated on the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G? Well, here’s the deal… The Virgin Angels just sent out a mass email that gave the opportunity to purchase the device online a day in advance, plus they will “throw in a $25 value gift card and free shipping” (The gift card is an AMEX gift card). As for the price plans: $599.99 retail and $169.99 on a 3-year.

The email stated the following:

“Hey there!
Thanks for signing up to be the first to know when the hot new Samsung Galaxy S II 4G would be up for grabs.

Since you’re on our list, you can buy the phone online a day before anyone else. Plus when you buy it online from July 20 – 25, 2011, we’ll throw in a $25 value gift card and free shipping to say thanks!
Heads-up! This offer is good while quantities last, for new activations only on the Virgin Mobile SuperTab or a 3-year agreement.”

You can go forth here at Virgin
(Thanks Ron!)
EDIT: after spending a few in on the phone with Virgin, i can confirm you can buy the SG2 for $599 on a 30 day plan and cancel right away, as they want 30 day notice, and you still get a $25 gift card.

cheaper than NewEgg. by $60 or so and you get 30 days phone service, (I chose $40 Android plan)

dammit, ordered again lol

!MiKrofT 07-20-2011 12:41 PM

Yup

thats what i was a bit confused about....but i think you can not do the 30-day plan thing...you have to do the TAB thing

From your message:

so i think you have to do it the way Gh0strider mentioned above
