Anyone on villainrom 3.0 found a mod for green status bar icons?

How do you make it so that the call log does NOT display text message logs??

requires root. works on XXKI4 stock rom.

When you see the Samsung GTi91000m you can release all the buttons. You should now be in Download mode with a big green Android.

4) Plug in the phone.
Run Odin3 v1.85.exe
It should detect your phone in the first box under ID:Com and will highlight it yellow

Make sure that Auto-Reboot is checked and F.reset time are the only ones checked
Click PDA and choose the tar file CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KG2-v4.1-CWM4 you extracted in step 2
Click Start.
When it's done flashing your phone will reboot. Unplug.

5) Now you're rooted and back in Android. You'll need to connect using wifi and install the following app:

Run this app. Click Step 1 then when it's ok click Step 2
Your phone should black screen and reboot. Give it a minute. After it reboots you're unlocked.
(Note: When all is working. Copy out the Galaxy_S_Unlock folder on the phone via USB and keep it in a safe place. This folder holds your encrypted IMEI/Mac Addresses/Etc.)

I'm doing this all from memory so hopefully I haven't missed anything.

FAQs:
1) Yellow Triangle: Means you're running custom kernel/rom. Doesn't affect anything. Can be removed but it's a lot of work for nothing.
2) Bell GPS navigation: Does not work if you aren't a Bell customer. This app checks to see if you're on the Bell network before it'll activate the license so use a different app like Navigon, Copilot, Sygic, etc.
3) The unlock app can be uninstalled when you're done. It's not needed afterwards.

will this work for Bell's GS2?

also i'm thinking to get some accessories. i can see diff cases are sold for diff versions of the phone AT&T, SGH-i777, I9100...etc. do they all use the same case? one size fits all? or the buttons and openings on these phones locate in different places? I use a Bell's GS2.

using samsung galaxy infuse 4g.

so far so good, love the 4.5in screen, finally found a back cover for the damn thing.

Yes. It'll work just fine since they are exactly the same phone.

I find the volume for the in-call speaker really loud on maximum. I really only leave the volume in the middle to avoid ear problems in the future.

I don't use villainrom so i don't know the ins and outs of that rom. But from a quick search on xda (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1198334), it seems the current villainrom is running on ki4 so if you're running the newest one I would assume you use the one for ki4 (2.35). Just do a nandroid backup first just in case.

I just used rootexplorer and made a backup of the files involved and manually copied the files there and restarted.

^make a backup of everything everytime prior to fiddling with ur phone..bootloop is not fun..

Well technically he can't backup until he does his initial Root. And if you need to unlock. Make sure you backup the /efs folder just in case.
