knees should track towards your toes tho. so dont have feet at 45* and bend your knees buckled forward.

Benefit6o4 01-20-2012 11:13 PM

Chicken breasts are disgusting, but if you insist, nofrills has them on sale right now, $2/lb for frozen pre-seasoned (e.g. injected with salt water) ones.

SFU gym!

Anyways, form is pretty bad (as others have said)

Try to take your time on stuff like this. and to lock out, stand up straight with your chest flexed outward and your back straight.

Use this as reference:

Anyways,

Bah I feel so down no that I cut my carb intake by 80%. Always tired and sleepy and no desire.

On a more srs note, how the hell do you guys wash your backs? I have the flexibility of a rock.

Seems like you need more hip-drive, from lower back and glutes.

That feeling should pass in a few weeks when your body adjust to the low carb.

I'll trade you some of my flexibility for your beastly strength. Haha.

Woke up today and I felt like going to the gym
Did shoulders and got my shoulder press to 50 x 5.

Assault really helped improved my workouts, I could still lift heavy from beginning to end. Gonna go next week off of it however.

i got a question for squats, how far apart should the legs be and should they point forward or out in like an angle ?

Middle of your feet should align with your shoulders

Point toes 30 degrees out

how should one breathe when doing squats/DL ? i have a feeling im doing it wrong

Excelsis 01-21-2012 09:27 PM

hold your breath for the entire set :troll:
Posted via RS Mobile

RRxtar 01-21-2012 09:28 PM

with as much grunting as possible!

srs tho, for my heavy DLs, i breath in on the way down, at the bottom breath out, breath in, and breath out HARD on the way back up. squats is the same but the extra breath is at the top obviously. for lighter sets i wont take the extra breath.

Excelsis 01-22-2012 08:34 AM

fuk it's amazing what you can learn about yourself and your body when you dream and can listen to your subconscious

kevin7352 01-22-2012 09:22 AM

god dammit. can't workout w/o assault :fuuuuu:
don't know if this is a bad sign
couldn't get 100% focused and give that push no homo

on a side note, saw kids curling the bar in the rack and so i asked if i could use it. the said 5 mins and then after that stared me down the whole time
every single exercise they did looked hella dangerous and was like 1/4 ROM :fulloffuck:
