Half marathon sunday then I am going to focus on lifting.

Quite solid!

Did 240lb 5x5 squats and than went right into deadlifts after 345 x 5.

Feels good :fullofwin:

There will always be next summer!

Now for my own gym rant... Saw a couple hugging and kissing on a warm up mat in Richmond oval, :seriously: do not do that beside me when I'm stretching and the dude was pinner as fuck weighing probably 110 lbs the most... Have to still bulk in the summer because half a year bulk is not good enough :okay:

Even better when you see them doing ab workouts with a belt on

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of surgery is it? That sucks, because depending on the surgery, lifting might actually make the pain worse lol

Really? Weird lol. What is your DL number to Squat?

I find it hard to increase my squat; whereas, I can increase my Deadlift slowly, but surely.

WTF did I fail pulling 1x405?
Did 5x3x315 no problem...

Saw another case of idiot doing quarter squats of 205 with the safety bars on. Must be afraid of his vagina touching the ground.

i had varicose veins starting since i was about 9 years old, google that shit but warning some pics may be disturbing lol it wasnt as bad as it shows on google, but it would have gotten to that point if i didnt get surgery lol so got rid of that problem on my right leg. but now my leg is all swollen same as my ankle/feet. and the surgeon had to cut right beside my groin so i cant do anything stressful. i should be ok to go back to the gym next next week tho

lolfuck.

I might just have encountered my first injury with deadlifts.
It hurts when I try to stand straight. FUCK.

....... that sucks man, You must have felt your form slipping when doing a deadlift.

When hitting PR's, I can definitely feel it.

LC21 05-12-2012 12:16 PM

Looks like a solid routine, giving it a try after strong lifts

hal0g0dv2 05-12-2012 12:19 PM

Morning cardio feels so good

Squats: 315lb,
Deadlifts: 275 lb, I have done 315 lb before but that's only when I'm super energized that day and my form usually slips..

I think it might be because I have a relatively smaller waist (waist area is basically the lower back area) which kind of explains it... Don't really know how I would increase my waist size are though besides doing deadlifts..

On another note, I'm starting to get some knee pain on my left knee, I really hope I don't have an ACL tear because I have a martial arts tournament coming up in a few weeks... Anyone know of ways to relieve this pain? I might post up a video in a bit for form check, because my form probably isn't the best it could be.

Respect man, that's an outstanding build.

How many years have you been lifting?

Thanks man, 5 years coming up in June. When I started I was completely intimidated by the gym, now I embrace it. To all the people starting out, never give up. Keep grinding.

hal0g0dv2 05-12-2012 03:47 PM

5 years that is solid
good work
