Post a vid or we will start calling you AlphaV3.... ;) I've only been working out for 1 year ;) actually it's literally just over 1 year. I've gained 20lbs of lean muscle in my 1 year of working out! Starting weight 1 year ago was 185. I'm currently sitting at 205-208 with roughly the same BF% (might be up 1 or 2%) Berz out. |
Do you guys go to the gym while your sick? Last week I was feeling ill , missed 3 days out of respect for the other people. I don't want to be coughing and sneezing and getting people sick. Today I feel better, just a stuffy nose and feeling a lil weak. I want to go but I don't want to prolong my sickness. |

Went full retard at the gym today .. maybe it was because I was forced to use the bumper plate area .. maybe it was because I was angry ... maybe it was because I knew everyone could see me .... but by the end of my Squats/Straight leg deadlift/hack squat I was too dead to anything else. Struggled through my leg press and bench like a biatch. RANT: Met my first prick at the gym today. Wow, don't know why it pissed me off so much. I was doing incline bench, managed 2 set's of 5 but I knew I had a little more in me. So I ask the big dude benching beside me for a spot. "No I don't spot" Me - "seriously?" "No, try working with a weight you can handle first blah blah blah...." I don't even know what he said at the end, I just turned around, walked away and laughed. I was pissed enough to hammer out two extra reps on my 3rd set though. Fucker. I thought big guys had nothing to prove? Is it bad I laughed when he almost dropped the bar on himself when I was standing right beside him? And for Skinny Bench 225 x 5 Pull ups 235 x 6.... I still don't think I could hammer out 6 x 235 on the pull down machine.... |

I had something similar at my gym, we have one of those olympic platform-style squat racks, so you can squat in the cage, and behind it there's a platform. Skinhead looking dude is squatting in the cage, I come up to him and go "Hey man, you mind if I do deadlifts on the platform?" he turns back and goes "Yeah I do mind". Completely didnt expect that reply since the platform and dead lifting on it is 100% not in his way whatsoever. So I stood there dumbfounded for like 10 seconds not believing his reply, I laughed and walked away. I always regret not saying "Fuck you" that day. |

i like how he incorporates supersets into the program... and tons of 3 x 8-12s, its a solid routine.. i might give it a try... Damn, working out at gold's is definetly a big motivator.. When I worked out at the gym near my house, I'd always lose focus and lose energy and always end up with half-assed workouts.. At gold's every workout I did was an awesome one... too bad their membership is so damn expensive though $500+ per year :okay: |
