Good progress man, you've changed your body composition quite a bit.
I'm also in the process of cutting body fat but that last 1cm of fat from the abs is so tough.

I gotta find someone to take pics of me so I can post it here. (no camera on phone :alone:)

Berzerker 06-08-2012 07:59 AM

Speaking of Hamstrings..... Man I killed Squats yesterday..... I can manage 7-8 reps at 315 now.

Berz out.

TouringTeg 06-08-2012 08:55 AM

Hope the hamstring injury is not major.

Going on a 2 week road trip starting this weekend. Going to eat as well as I can and pretty much rest. Maybe the odd run and ab workout. Will lose gains and come back strong.

When ever you plan do some ab exercises, try popping in some windshield wipers.

It really helps to burn off some of that stubborn belly fat, plus it will help you shape your obliques.

Hope not. That's why I hate running, even moderate running can fuck you up. Another reminder that humans were designed for lifting heavy shit, and grappling. :fuckyea:

I like how whenever u explain about the human body u always bring up our cavemen and homo erectus ancestors into perspective hahaha. Its good though because it mskes sense...

That's what we are man... Just because we got fat in the last 3000 years and REALLY fat and diabetic in the last 30-50 years, doesn't mean we haven't always been the same for the 3 million or so before that :)

All these changes we're aware of happened extremely recently in our long, long history on this planet.

As per request, I'll post up a couple of photos of some progress....

The photo below here was just the beginning of my training (Mid January 2012), this photo was taken one month after I started training, had a nasty belly :okay:

The second photo here was taken on June 3rd, still in the process of burning off fat, I still have a long way to go but I just have to be patient about it

Total time training so far, 5.5 months, and 3 months of correct dieting.

My weight peaked out at 181lb

Current weight is around 162lb-163lb

My height is 5'8"

EDIT1: Maybe similar strength, but not body but I'm willing to work hard on the ideal body i want :accepted:

Nice job man, ur upper chest is probably around the same as me... Except mine just might be a bit more defined... My waist is def alot smaller though. Its exactly why im considering going for the Junior division BC championships for bodybuilding next year :fuckyea: I just gotta fix up my diet.

hal0g0dv2 06-08-2012 10:46 AM

^^ wow competing shit, never thought of doing that

hal0g0dv2 06-08-2012 10:54 AM

v hook rows with a barbell are great right,
try them with a tricep rope for the handle, thank me later

mikemhg 06-08-2012 11:00 AM

I met instantneedles at the gym a few days ago, nice dude.

GGnoRE 06-08-2012 11:01 AM

^ is it because they increase your range of motion?

I enjoy T-bar rows with V-hooks

Berzerker 06-08-2012 12:07 PM

208lbs today  Destroyed my chest... again.... I'm quitting the iBodybuilder program. Not enough Volume for my taste and I feel like I'm neglecting all my other muscles in hyper focusing on one.

Berz out.

My waist isn't exactly what you call slim because prior to working out I was wearing size 34 jeans :heckno:

I can now wear 32's with space to spare :fuckyea:

If you like oiling up and posing in a room full of other topless guys, then I wish you nothing more than absolute success.

Personally, I wouldn't mind getting into some sort of amateur strength sports in the future.

Do the layne norton workout. Sao dope. It takes me longer to do stronglifts than to do layne norton's workout.

Love itttttt

Berzerker 06-08-2012 03:14 PM

I only have 50 mins to workout.....

Berz out.

Matlock 06-08-2012 03:35 PM

Feels awesome. Found my new favourite deadlift. Frog stance (ankles together)

Not exactly as strong as I used to be, but did a 5x5 and 1x10 with 275.
Also got my power cleans up to 185.

Need to buy more t-nation shirts.

/ramble.

Alphamale 06-08-2012 04:59 PM

90lbs for reps on decline. Gonna aim for 100 next week motha fucka.

The_Situation 06-08-2012 06:32 PM

Went to the physio today. Said its just pulled, but its going to take several weeks to rehab. Guess its the summer of biceps for me :okay:

RRxtar 06-08-2012 07:04 PM

my gym is doing renos for a month and has a bullshit setup so trying all the different gyms in town in that time frame.

tried our big ass pool/gym facility called 'the H2O center' on wednesday and im fairly certain it was full of homo (srs) and it was real dark inside. everything was brand new, but not very interesting.

tried 'goodlife fitness' today which is BRAND NEW and it seemed pretty not too bad. will see how it is during the week. my only real complaint is that the adjustable benches are super low, im used to them being knee height, these are almost on the ground. and the dumbells have a huge flat rubber surface on either end which makes them not 'click' together nicely at the top of each rep, they sorta bounce off each other awkwardly.

this post is irrelevant to everyone in here.

hal0g0dv2 06-08-2012 07:16 PM

^^ it's not for me

Excelsis 06-08-2012 07:49 PM
