I can't squat either, so I do leg press, leg extensions, seated leg curls, and seated calf raises.

Add some weighted lunges and side lunges on your routine... Its less aggravating on the knee joints and you will slowly gain your ligament strength again.

when doing dips do you guys go all the way down past 90 degrees and lock out at the top?
i always get pain in my left shoulder and left elbow after doing dips and i'm wondering if this is the problem

instantneedles 07-09-2012 07:40 PM

^I personally like to always keep a slight bend when doin the up motion, and go just slightly past the 90 degrees on the way down. This is to keep constant tension. The moment you lock out at the top or go too far down on the way down, your putting the stress onto the ligaments and tendons, which is why you might be getting some soreness there... always makes sure the tension is on your muscle fibers

Really loving the fasting throughout the day, I find myself having a lot more energy especially after lunch. No more feeling tired for digesting haha.

Fuck i did my squats with 2 plates on each side, 10 on one side and 5 on the other
Didnt even realize i did that until i did the set
I did 3 reps and wondered why i could only do 3

Does that count as a pr of 240? Lol

it's exactly like an arnold press, never go all the way up or the exercise focuses on something other than what it is intended for.

Just entered my stats.

In order for me to lose 0.5 lb/week, I can only consume 2060 calories/day. If I want to lose 1 lb a week, I'd have to consume 1600 calories/day.

Is that even healthy?!
