redsir just lookin at your dp, you're probably korean right? that probably explains half of your beastly lifts... the koreans that don't wear ball-hugging skinnyjeans and actually make the effort to go to the gym are some of the biggest guys i see around, no joke |
Haha that is so true! I was in Seoul a couple months ago and there were definitely some beasts there. But a big guy at the gym told me most Koreans don't squat because they are afraid they won't fit in their skinny jeans. I thought that was pretty funny. I am Chinese btw. But the wife is Korean and she indeed makes me wear skinny jeans. But now that I started bulking they don't fit anymore. She really wants me to stop squatting. I told her ok. :ilied: |
I have a pair of straight leg samurais that I've been working on for about 2 years, and they're getting a bit snug now. Cant afford another pair atm :( Not gonna stop me from doing squats though. |

You compare them to japanese guys and hong kong guys youll see a big difference. Nd yeah i outgrew my slimfit nudies ages ago... Its to the point where they feel like exploding everytime i take a step or sit down |
Jeans ? Never heard of them Shorts and sweats yes |
skinny jeans for phags |
just train legs enough then regular jeans start to look likes skinny jeans also, went to ER today. Got tendonitis :( No gym for 6 weeks :okay: This fucking sucks, the pain is almost unbearable if I even try to move light things |

When I started lifting, I didn't have the greatest form and fucked up my shoulder which prevented me from training them for like 5 months. My shoulders are underdeveloped compared to the rest of my body...but it's slowly getting there. :okay: |

Dhillon, a few exercises i definetly recommend as a part of the healing process, is wrist curls, bicep curls, supination wrist curls, grip strength exercises and I'd really recommend you get this http://www.how-2-tennis.com/grip-strength-training.html and do all of them with really light weights... Secondly, one thing to take note is, unless the joint is really inflammed and you start getting a sharp piercing pain, I would stay away from the ice. When you think about it, inflammation is one of your body's natural processes just like how you would have a fever so icing is a nono unless it starts becoming chronic. Best thing to do is use a heat pack and doing some forearm circles to help with the blood flow. My two cents as a rehab assistant |
^^ Thanks ... I'm confident it's mostly my rotator cuff that is injured as rotator cuff exercises are very painful for me to do .. sigh :okay: Felt beta as fuck today Bought a new computer desk and had to ask my sister to help me lift it because I could only use one arm ... is this how normal non-lifting people feel? First time I ever needed help lifting something, this sucks. |

but if doing rotator cuff exercises hurt, try doing them with a pillow tucked underneath your armpit, and if you aren't already and can get access to it, i'd try doing them with tubing or bands... |
Should I switch over to seated barbell presses if my dumbbell shoulder press is plateauing? |
^ i feel you, im kinda plateauing at 85s.. Once i get to 90s i just cant seem to push it up, and my shoulders start to give in. Ive heard tht barbell presses on smith machines really help The thing with me is that, i can kick the dumbbells up into starting position no problem, i just cant seem to push it off from that point on. Anyone know some exercises that will allow me to target that specific sticky point and explode out into the press? Id say im about 1/3 of the way up and i just cant push up anymore. Its funny because i can rep out 8 for 80s no prob and 5 reps of 85s.. But not even 1 for 90s |
