Science behind it: Working out too hard means your cells get deprived of oxygen. Getting deprived of oxygen means they go into a secondary pathway to make energy. This secondary pathway generates lactic acid in your muscle (the burn). Good thing is, production of lactic acid is reversible, so just do some low intensity walking on a treadmill and it should, in theory, dissolve most of the lactic acid. I love the burn and the pain after, so I rarely do that :fullofwin: |

One thing I don't like is the fact that they're always trying to get you to buy their new stocks for products like gaspari, razor8, etc and never really promote their other products as much.. |
Prob cause they buy a ton and get a deal on a bulk price Everyone use to push r8 for cheap Posted via RS Mobile |
superstore has six star whey for 38 bux (4lbs) shits money, as cheap as kaizen/gnr from costco |
Had a solid breakfast and lots of carbs the night before..bench 175 at 12 in the afternoon. 9PM, tired, 3 hour class, no food for 4 hours, bench 190. Weird. |

Just drop the bar or no safety bars? |
Costco had a really good deal on Kaizen. 45 dollars for a huge tub. Probably a 6lb. |
Had? Is it still going on? I never realized they had 6lb tubs. |

I felt that, after doing a ton of core stabilizing exercises (and no not just situps), I was able to squat the same weights with much better ease. Also, if you feel like you're pushing a bit more weight than you usually do, put on a belt. Injuries like this can be pretty fatal, don't want to suffer from any chronic symptoms of osteoarthritis and herniation |
Started P90x two weeks ago :nicethread: I know, I know... it's old and not cool any more. Let's see how long I last, it's a hell of a workout, I am hurting all over. Funny enough, riding whistler bike park I thought my legs were good, did Friday's work-out on legs and holy shit, I walked funny for at least half hour! 14/90 |

Been training in the morning at school lately. Since its a holiday, I spent $3 on a drop in at the rec today... Money well spent :megusta: Happy turkey day! Nomnomnom Posted via RS Mobile |
it was just a one time thing; I usually look at the mirror when I squat, but this time I looked skywards... woops It's really just my first time feeling this pain ever; I think my form isn't bad. Maybe it's just one of those days where you're not as focussed.. lol |
