Anyone ever been to a powerlifting meet?
Is there a specific style of squat or dead lift that I can use during the competition to get a bit more weight up

Over the last few years, I've become really reliant on whey protein to get enough protein for the day. I need to make sure not to rely on it too much simply because I am lazy. I ran out a couple weeks ago and have been waiting for a big order from bb.com

In the mean time I started eating cans of tuna (with mustard) and blender shakes with 1 cup of egg whites instead of whey. Egg whites are not too bad as a substitute but ON choc or vanilla in a shake tastes a lot better.

I ran out of protein for 1 month
Zero fucks given, don't really care to much on protein rather slam 1l of choc milk
Only times I really depend on protein is when dieting

x10000!

You likely get more nutrients, vitamins and fibre when eating real food Vs. Protein shakes. I haven't taken a shake in over 1 year and I find that the quality of muscle produced is better(if that makes sense) and doesn't go away as fast when I take a break from working out.

achieved a new PB tonight, DB flat press 85x5

edit: can anyone recommend a good handheld foam roller? I was googling and tiger tail seemed to look sufficient. Also, where would I find one?

Haha thats awesome dude, i was benching 50lb dumbbells at my hotel gym for 30 reps cus it was the heaviest dumbbell there lol, its like a pushup for me... After that my arms were all pumped and shit, and it was pretty hot so i just took my shirt off. The security guard came in moments later and just stared for a bit. I thot he wanted me to put my shirt back on, but instead he asked me "excuse me, do you have a gun permit for those guns?"
