Your dedication to your workouts are insane. Are you working towards an particular goal? A pro card?

And I think Instant's goal is 3 plate bench.

Thanks dude
I don't think a pro card, that would be sick tho .

first day working out after le flu, surprisingly i didn't lose any gains :notbad:

Fcukedd 01-01-2013 08:55 PM

^ Of course you're not going to lose gains after 3 days lol Try a month

Used my friend's key fob for access to Anytime Fitness (shhh). Rack pulls are sick at the end of your back workout.

this wasnt a normal flu man

i was cuddled up in a fetal position in pain, all my joints hurt and my muscles felt like they were being shredded. my fever would spike randomly during the day and my eyes were always on fire. My brain was under constant attack my headaches so bad that sometimes i thought i was dying and it made me go crazy. my lungs were affected the most kuz it FILLED up with mucus to the point where i couldn't even inhale properly

this was the most paintull damn flu i ever had okay :okay:

Fcukedd 01-01-2013 10:03 PM

Sounds brutal man.

I think I might have partially torn my bicep. When I supinate my wrist and bend it back as if I were to flex, I get a sharp pain in my upper bicep/shoulder.

Anyone experience this before, or have any idea on how to treat it?

PK6o4* 01-01-2013 10:22 PM

howd u injure it?

Fcukedd 01-01-2013 11:06 PM

I think I may have slightly bent my arm during a warmup set of rack pulls (used 135lb). It barely felt like anything so I decided to brush it off and went as heavy as 365lb with NO issues. Started to feel it an hour after I got home.

instantneedles 01-01-2013 11:22 PM

If it felt fine after the warmup set then chances are, its nothing too serious (like tendon sprains, muscle tears, etc). Speaking from personal experience, those usually come immediately after the set. My bet is that its probably acute muscle soreness that usually comes after a workout. Id still get it checked out though if it persists

Need to find a new gym. Richmond bros, sports central or richmond sports club? Price is pretty comparable, $200/year for sports central and richmond sports club is $25/month, no contract (I will probably only use 10 months so $250/year). Anyone been to both recently and can compare them?

Fcukedd 01-02-2013 02:26 AM

Sport Central so I can mirin

But seriously, if you're okay with some broken equipment (eg. loose dumbbell plates, hammer strength leg extension is uneven, etc) and a somewhat old environment, definitely go with Sport Central. It's cheaper, 24/7 and I don't know where else you can find dumbbells that go up to 160lb.

The 45lb plates are octagons and not round, so you could see why they'd suck for deadlifts.

Sorry, no background on Steve Nash..but I know it's clean lol

EDIT: Oops sorry I read that wrong lol

red_sir 01-02-2013 02:50 AM

Hmm I guess I can live with those things. But is it busy during peak hours? Nothing worse than having to wait for a bench or squat rack. Or having people constantly ask "how many more sets you got?"

I'm talking about richmond sports club at the end of no.5 btw, not steve nash sports club.
