Instant: I am using the shoes for all lifts. They are really intermediate shoes good for up to 405lb squat. Popular with crossfitters .

Horse mats. These guys don't ship, but you get the idea.

And I'm guessing its my rotator cuff also.....
Problem is, looks like I won't be able to do anything with my right arm for abit.
Shoulders are out, back is likely out
Might still be able to do curls and tricep pull downs.
I guess it'll just be cardio until the it heals.

Any ideas on timeline? Couple of days? Couple of weeks?

Could be months. Shoulder injuries blowwwwwwwww

my gym has 6 or 7 brand new bars like 6-8 months old. within a 3 week period in the fall, 4 of them got bent. like 1" out of true bent. jackasses doing power shrugs and rack pulls from well above the knee and slamming them down basically bouncing them up and down on the squat rack rails. i even wrote a letter about it on the comment card thing in my gym. its horse shit.

mind telling me where you picked em up? Do you use them for deadlifts too? I'd think it'd be more beneficial to deadlift with a flat surface so you can drive onto your heels.

beproud 01-14-2013 08:54 PM

My bench press is 265lbs but my squat is shit eh, 160lbs lol cant even squat my body weight (175lbs) haha. What would you recommend for stance? Ive read so many different versions......i currently have my legs shoulder length apart

that's a killer deal. Is the shoe size true to size? or do they fit slightly bigger/smaller

gotcha... so by everything, do you mean plyos and cardio as well, or purely lifting?

I'm debating between these or a pair of minimalist shoes...

Chucks don't work for me. For some reason, it feels really flimsy when I lift.. tried it once and almost tripped over while doing squats. Tempted to give vibram 5 or addidas minimalist shoes a try
