*cough cough mat.... lock... :troll: jk jk

jokes aside, legs/core are the roots to a tree. they support your entire bodyweight -your arms don't. w/o a stable foundation in which a structure can be built upon, there is a limit to how big that structure can really be.

if you're man enough to carry 100s of pounds over your back, an arm curl will be child's play... nd no this doesn't work the other way around Lol.

I can carry 100s of lbs on my back but can only curl 25's for a meaningful number of reps :okay:

Do you DL? I would imagine you DL big numbers based on your squatting abilities but based on your shoulder press numbers I don't even know what's right anymore lol

J.C 02-25-2013 01:05 PM

It's just that I've been only doing strength for squats and deadlifts for a year
Highest i've done is 355
Only been using dumbbells for 2 weeks

if you ever see me, you'll be like does this kid even lift lol

start overhead pressing with the bar lol

i progresses so much faster with the bar than then dumbells for shoulders .

^ I think he's purposely using dumbbells to incorporate his stabilizing muscles that he's neglected for the past year

Solid leg day. Finally got over my previous PR for squats of 335x1. Got 2 extra reps this time :fullofwin:

Lol I guess those ppl who failed me hate to know the truth. Any bodypart is equally as important. Maybe too obsessed with their legs? There are two types of ppl tbh: One that curls everyday, The other type calls the curler chicken leg and squats everyday. Sometimes the truth hurts.

ts14 02-25-2013 04:38 PM

Another good day while being sick ugh

Squatted : 225lbs with 3x3
Benched : 235lbs with 3x3
Stiff leg deadlift : 145lbs with 5x5
Shrugged (machine) : 600lbs with 3x3

Bench and squat are finally on 2 plates :joy:

I bet youve never played a sport in your life lol. Theres a reason every single athlete puts a heavy emphasis on squats...because it is the king at building speed strength and explosiveness
