its a nice switchup. i was dead tired by the end of every workout
dont know if it correleates directly, but my biceps got more mass than ever before (maybe for me, my biceps are just stimulated more by high volume training?)

Yes, you can just throw the weights down like it's nothing.

i cant take these protein farts no more

i gotta work and school

ive tried many things

how badly will this affect my gainz?

the brand is ON gold standard whey protein

hal0g0dv2 03-04-2013 09:35 AM

Drow 03-04-2013 09:59 AM

^ thing is i have tried many remedies.. switching from milk to water, eating yogurt etc but to no avail

and i always eat dinner, i drink a shake the night before next morning im a gas machine for hours

Excelsis 03-04-2013 10:03 AM

you're lactose intolerant, don't drink milk then lol easy solution

Drow 03-04-2013 10:07 AM

took it with water. same farts

danny_d19 03-04-2013 10:10 AM

Fart proudly, fuck it

not srs

Fcukedd 03-04-2013 10:14 AM

Try finding a pure whey isolate? That filters out all the lactose. It's obviously going to be more expensive, but might be worth the extra money to you

Drow 03-04-2013 10:22 AM

ive never had problem with milk before, it wasn't until the protein shakes till i got affected

pinn3r 03-04-2013 10:28 AM

I have the same problem lol, shake before bed = farts galore

:lawl:

Could be just the brand of protein, some may be better or worse than others for gas depending on the individual.

A bit of bro-science here but perhaps try one that uses physical filtration methods (cross-flow filtration, microfiltration etc.) to isolate the whey vs ion exchange (which ON is/has partially).

Different protein powders will yield different (if any) side effects.
I get bad stomach aches taking Myofusion, but supplements from BSN or ON is completely fine
Try switching up the brand if you haven't already..but like halo said, protein powders are seriously overrated.

PS: Full resolution pic of girl and sauce of avatar kthx

Drow 03-04-2013 10:49 AM

i have already decided. my tub of protein is about 85% full, i took it for about a week.

gonna try to sell it to my buddies for $40.00

or if anything PM me

I am personally unable to tolerate Myofusion, but Syntha6 or Pro Complex is fine for me.

That'll be sick man! I feel like I'm doing free advertisement for SC. People keep asking me where I was working out in the video.

instantneedles 03-04-2013 02:26 PM

none of the gyms i work out at have kettlebells :okay:

sonick 03-04-2013 02:31 PM

It's busy enough as it is. :okay:

I saw them unloading new gear and new bumper plates on Saturday, not sure if they're just enhancing that area :fullofwin: or another CrossFit gym is moving in :ohgodwhy:

Also they just got a GHR rig, looking forward to trying that out.

subordinate 03-04-2013 03:03 PM

FYI, Use the appropriate Olympic bar when you are going to be dropping the bar for cleans/snatches/etc.

There are some people using the regular bars with loose bolts from all the dropping.

That's why, whenever I use one of those bars, whether it be for squats or benches, I check the bolts. The last thing I need is the bolt 1/4 way screwed in and it snaps from all the pressure.

Edit:

Be sure you guys know how to do cleans.......I heard a while back, some kid tried cleans in the Cross fit area - didn't stick the landing right. Broke his ankle.

I saw GHR Machine too. I heard that the trainer who brought it in wants to charge people for using it!
