anyways, I'm usually not one to bitch about other people at the gym but damn. There's this huge black guy at langara YMCA that goes in the mornings that NEVER puts away his goddamn weights. Not only that, but he also hogs up the squat rack, heavy dumbells and curl bar and when you ask him when he's done he always says that hes "circuit training".. Like seriously, I don't want to have to always put away your goddamn weights in order to do my own set.

w0w @ 146 good job

alwayslive 02-27-2013 08:41 PM

No tattys and I'm pretty short lol only 5'9" and I'm pretty skinny.. If it helps I have 3 piercings on my left ear and my pulling movements are significantly stronger than my pushes

First day doing deadlifts again after a minor back injury (fucked up my back a bit doing bent over rows a month ago) managed 335@120. Prev max before injury was 350. It's gonna take longer to get to my goal of 4 plates..

I tried it with 1 plate last weekend and it didn't feel right

Hit or miss I suppose. I tried today with 225 and it definitely felt better without my back rounding.

I will attempt 405 with it soon.

Don't know where else to ask but where would you by a digital scale to measure out your food for meals esp for protein.

I've seen them at Walmart and Canadian Tire. I'm sure a lot of other places will have them too.

Don't worry, you're still young. You're already squatting/pulling good weight. You'll be a beast in a few years when you bulk up and get your man strength. :fullofwin:

Got my scale probably about a month ago at walmart. $19.99 was the cheapest one they have and it works very well

Canadian Tire puts them on sale for $10 (from ~$30ish) every so often, keep your eyes out.

Bought mine 2 weeks ago.
