weird, all my Installous apps still are working. I never touched it after JB-ing it. not even open Cydia once.:ahwow:

I have an iPhone 4 on 5.1.1. I can still jailbrake my iphone but I won't get free apps like before right? The only thing I get to do are tweaks?

What happens to my apps that I currently have on my phone, will I still be able to use them after JB?

a bit lazy to dig up the ipad thread.. but ios6 related.

so I updated my ipad 2 to 6.1 and jailbroke it, but one thing i noticed now is that the volume down button becomes screwy. One press of the button, and the ipad becomes muted/silent. Volume up works like normal though. Anybody else experience such an issue?

seem to be having problems with appcake on ipad... it only shows half the existing screen

Just jailbroke my iPhone 5, and unfortunately my weather app crashes on startup.
All the solutions I've googled haven't fixed it :okay:
VLC is still a great app (if you still have it, or jailbroke your phone). It's still the easiest way to drag and drop videos without some ridiculous conversions. Unfortunately, it will never be updated to iPhone 5 resolution because it was pulled from the app store due to licensing issues.

Fuckkk nothing but problems for me with my 5, now seemingly my tilt sensor is setting off the Silent/ring mode my phone is vibrating non stop in my pocket turning itself from silent to ring all day long :/

If I go to the apple store to get a new one do they usually check to see if the phone has been restored in an attempt to fix the problem? My problem is obviously a hardware one but I don't feel like restoring etc before I go to the store

Anyone want to buy a brand new 16gb 5 once I get the new one from apple store?

You don't have to do anything to your phone before you bring it into the Apple Store.. They'll just swap it for you if it's hardware problem and nothing to do with what you have done to the phone..

Yea I've gotten replacements before but they always ask If I tried a restore etx was just wondering if there was any way they could tell if I actually restored or not

Yes they can. They plug it in and run their diagnostics. Will show when the device was restored to new, or updated to the latest OS version etc.

That's what they did this weekend for me.

Need some help iphone users:

I upgraded my windows from 7 to 8

My iphone crapped out before I was able to restore my data on windows 8

I want to restore from a backup saved in my old version of Windows
I still have all the files from my Win 7 backup but I dont know how to restore my phone.
