Demko’s injury happened after a save he made in a home game vs Florida.

John Garrett said that Demko was grabbing his right hamstring after making a save.

-looks pretty serious if he was in quite a bit of pain at that part of the game.

Yeah I get we all hate the team right now, but this is just a freak occurrence.

You can still play with a torn acl. There's custom knee braces for that. I've worn one in my last 5 years of playing ice. As for Mikheyev, they never said how severe the tear was, obviously it wasn't significant enough to end his season back in the beginning

Nice story in Edmonton ... guy signs a one day contract as Emergency Backup, gets inserted with 3 mins left so he can play in 1st NHL game.

I absolutely hate the Oilers as most Canucks fans do, but that's a very classy and heart warming move. He even got a save in! Maybe Aquilini and co could learn about class.

Newhook is a centre man.

Byram is a good skater such that he can play on the right side even though he is left hand shot d-man.

I don't think Avs would do that. They didn't even want to give Kadri 7mi/yr, but they would give up Byram to sign Bo for even more? Nah. They'd be giving up two pending RFAs making less than a mil each when they also have a bunch of pending UFAs to re-sign next year. I can see if they want a rental, but then they're not trading Byram for a rental.

Also, that's not a rumor. That's some guy making a trade proposal. :lol Do we honestly think the Canucks would get such a good deal?
