well my front end is all back together, looks sweet with the bright red calipers :) so now its just the fuel system, mount the IC, finish the FFI, and build some hardpipes. im ordering the bends in the next day or two, so if anyone wants aluminum bends let me know.

ryan: i want my afm back, and you can pick up your stickers. oh ya, and i need that t fitting, let me know what you want for it.

After painting Craig's sawblades a gunmetal grey, I think it clashed too much with the car/tires. I don't think I'd paint my rims a dark color unless my car was white. Even then, I'm a fan of polish/chrome.

don't worry dude, you'll end up fixing it and you'll regret it and love it at the same time. It's just the way it seems to go (well, the smart ones bail out early lol).

And I know about the feeling that it used to be in good shape, My car used to be awesome.... and I spun a rod bearing with less than 70,000 original miles and had to replace the engine last summer... like I say, just seems to be the way she goes.
Hopefully it's not that bad though dude.

I'm also pretty sure I'm gonna pop my headgasket soon. hopefully it'll last till winter so I can park it and fix it lol.

gettin my IC bracket welded tomorrow, fuck bolting this shit together... also picked up a 10 gallon fish tank with all the equipment for $0 hehe, so now i gotta learn how to keep the fish from dyin. i wanted a shark but the tank is too small, apparantly the kind i wanted can get to be 13 inches long...

Matt, all I did for a finish like in the photo was use a disc sander @ 30psi w/ 220 grit sand paper, get all the paint off, then sand it again with 320 grit.

After its all nice, I used a metal polish called "AutoSol". It was $7 at Lordco.

wow that is alot of work way of doing it

i find the best way to make you wheels shinny is


go to lord co buy air craft stripper only air craft cause the otehr stuff really sucks and makes a really big mess and makes more work


damp rag in the stuff wipe the wheels weight liek 15 mins wipe off all the paint

after that take like 700 grit then do quick wiht 1000

then go to canaidan tire buy teh the aumlen stick polish and buffying wheel for drill the stick is green there are 3 diffent type's


and after that you have mirro wheel

oh yae this shoudl take you about 30 45 min's a wheel for start to done

Yeah Murray, the car was just a nightmare from day one. And before i bought that car, i probably wanted a supra more than anyone here... ever since i bought my celica i always dreamed of owning a supra after that. I guess it was just the wrong one to start with or something because it was nothing but trouble as you probably know. I cant say that im fond of the 7M motor in the least anymore... but anyways i had to let it go cheap because it developed some bad knock/noise that im sure was rodknock not two weeks after i got the head back on with the metal headgasket. That was the final straw. It seemed like nobody wanted it so i sold it back to Shane, the kid i bought it from originally for what i paid for it.

take you reg ct26 stick the compser inlet in the inlet of the pte 67 and all it tuches in compser wheel and there room to move around

nice turbo! just a little modification of the compressor outlet there and it will be good to go!

matt, the fastener i s pressed into 14 gauge steel and hold an additional 1 or 2 layers of 14 gauge. its a pivot that uses a c-clip to hold the metal together, made of brass. pretty cool to see something i basically designed that is going to be on a production piece that may be sold all over the world :)

well the pipe is definately split, the second half of it is just hanging down from where it broke. And its just a little bit after the header

might he salvable aslong as its in the piping not the header itself. get ryan to weld it up or talk to jon/alan at sidney brake and muffler. you could get away with just getting a straight piece of pipe in place of the rusted crap, also removing the cat. altho not as good as a totally new exhuast it will be cheaper.

I just saw on SF you said you didn't really like the sound of them - but I like mine... I dunno. It does drone a bit at idle, so I suppose that might be a bigger problem with the bigger muffler/exhaust?

GUHHH lol STUPID SUPRAS! hahaha, i think i may have blowen my turbo... and possiblely completly fucked my headgasket... i was making a video with a bunch of 0-160 runs and such. donuts, such and such. but yea, and so i was driving, pinned it, pulled a really nice drift, and my car just started shooting blue smoke :( pulled up to the light, revved it, shoot more blue. didnt boost it after that, no more blue.. checked top coolant hose (on rad) toooons of pressure, overflow was puking out coolant by the looks of it. ugh, hopefully i just worked it too hard and itll all be fine :(

matt i was thinking if you're going with a header and a straight-through muffler you're probably going to want something in between, a resonator or another muffler. keep that in mind or you might end up with one loud ass beast.

on a turbo car the exhaust isnt nearly as loud since the turbo itself baffles out so much noise, but with yours its going to be fucking noisy if ryan just makes it all straight through.

my rx7 is like this after the header and its a mega pain in the ass.
