i will post pics when i sober up a bit..
the game mattered alot to me, just becuz the nucks needed to bring out a good effort to win for trevor..i mean..the calgary game on april5th, unacceptable

class act trevor is, the vibe in teh building was amazing

Bure..will never have his number retired, becuz the canucks arnt a joke of an organization to just retire every great superstar that played for their team. As alot of ppl ahve said, Linden's contribution and reputation towards the organization and the city is one of hte reasons why his jersey is up in the rafters now.

Nazzy will get his day, as "lackluster" as people say he was, he is the team's leadin point getting and goal scorer.

As much of a bure fanboy I am, he wont get his number retired just because his fallout with the organization.

there will be many more great people b4 it's Bure's turn..if ever

The Canucks treatment of Pavel Bure was such a class-act right...They treated, arguably the most exciting/skilled player to wear a Canuck uniform poorly. Face it, the Canucks treated Bure like a chump the moment he landed in North America. However kudos to Linden to getting his number retired. Never my favourite Canuck but he's got my respect and the run he had in 94 made me a fan.

quite a touching article there.

The saga continues, looks liek sundin decision might be delayed...

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=3...id=DL|NHL|home

EDIT: they just said on team 1040 that sundin is "delaying" his decision because he wants the rangers to find a way to get more cap space. what a fucker! he should just come out and tell us straight up that he doesnt want to play for vancouver so people here won't get their hopes up

411ken 12-18-2008 07:27 AM

hahaha i saw this coming a million miles away. Linden's night is over, if he really wants to play for us it would be done now. Him waiting, gives the rangers more time to make a deal so he can join them.

If the Rangers can't make room for him, then he'll go to the canucks and our team will be his Sloppy seconds (choice wise)

trdees 12-18-2008 07:29 AM

a couple of days delay is not a big deal. If this was your decision you would want to think over were you would play as well.
