thanks darth!

well since im posting, anyone selling a nexus s that works on bellus/rogers/fido? shoot me a pm. willing to spend a max of $300 on the phone. but at that price the condition of the phone needs to be 8.5-9/10.

Psykopathik 10-26-2011 12:24 PM

the AWS version sells for $350 @ Mobilicity, however you only get 2G and EDGE data speeds.

Death2Theft 10-26-2011 01:00 PM

Dont know about you guys but my nexus s on rogers certainly isn't fast enough to stream youtube hd vids.

somthing wrong with your phone. with non HD content, my Nexus steams fine even with Mobi's shitty speeds.

2.3.6 gingerbread is out. it keeps popping up on my nexus S and i'm wondering if i should install this? I don't think there's a way out of it since it keeps popping up forcing me to eventually install.

!Nhan 10-26-2011 05:42 PM

been out for awhile actually. i don't notice anything really different.

yameen 10-26-2011 05:56 PM

^ is it a safe install? I hear some problems some ppl are experiencing with it. i'm currently on 2.3.4. is it safe to jump from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6?

sorry i'm a noob. thanks!

Does the same hold true for the reverse?
If I use a Rogers Nexus S on Mobilicity?

!MiKrofT 10-27-2011 11:35 AM

You can't use a Rogers/Bellus/Virgin Nexus on Mobilicity or Wind. You won't get any service at all.

Teh Doucher 10-27-2011 11:39 AM

Thanks to simplex_123 for hooking me up with the nexus s!! This phone is sweet so far, just trying to get a hang of it.

Got the phone today! I haven't used it that much yet since I applied an inivisbleshield right when I got it.

Anyone recommended cases that are silicon or hard rubber?

Tim Budong 11-06-2011 05:14 AM

Speedtest on UCKD1 Radio..which was a fucking headache...BUT it gave me amazing speeds

oh wellll

I installed franco's 11/6 kernel with updated deepidle and live oc
my goodness this thing is killer battery for what I do
unplugged at 1pm today...bombed with whatsapp/LINE to plan out evening
at 89% now...

I OC'd the phone to 1.2 max at 1185mv and 440min at 1050mv with LAZY scaling profile
deepidle is friggin great! dont know too well on how it works, i just have it ON
fucking great!
