I bought it off my SGS2 and it worked perfectly fine.
I rooted after.
Checked the store, and I can still see it.

Damn. This guy was able to get 7 days of battery life. Catch is is didn't really use it during that time.

Impressive nonetheless.

i think this is close to the version that AT&T was supposed to get...

I also like yesterday how there finally was an update to Skype for video calls on SGII

sorta. however the Evo 3D is available with a nicer screen :D $549 no contract. however i still cant stand the ugliness/blandness of the Android menus.

:fullofwin:

damn you, iPhone! where are you!

!Yaminashi 08-05-2011 09:43 AM

I dunno about nicer, if the contrast isnt great it wont look as good :p
Higher pixel density though, yes

IMHO 4.5" is just too large. Plus the resolution will start to get a little grainy at that size.

twitchyzero 08-05-2011 10:42 AM

agreed..480X800 res is too weak for a screen 4.5"

gdoh 08-05-2011 11:02 AM

im sure people will still buy it regardless and would the difference be very noticable??

found this interesting as the stats are directly related to the SGSI and the SGSII for increased market share....

poor Nokia

the 4.3" is perfect size anything bigger it is just to much...the SGSII has the best size for optimal use

Physically yes.

!Yaminashi 08-05-2011 02:10 PM

So has anyone received their SGP Glas screen protector yet?
Curious to get some reviews, I'm tempted to get one

Gerbs 08-05-2011 04:04 PM

would anyone use invisible shield?

!Yaminashi 08-05-2011 04:08 PM

I'd only use the screen portion. For the rest of the phone I'd rather have the case mate barely there case

see..this is the problem..the guy claims his one week glory..but he rarely uses it..

I claimed 36hrs on my NexusOne and I used it like I normally would

Gh0strider scored even higher on Android Battery test at 39hrs

Now i'm sure that kernel can push to that 30-40hr limit with regular use...
which is.. phone/txt/whatsapp/twitter/facebook/foursquare/RSS feeder for news

I pushed my NexusS to 29hrs... In terms of SGS2? I will find out when I get mine near the end of the month. hopefully, there will also be an HTC EVO3D for me to compare and play around with

Armind 08-05-2011 04:54 PM

auto correct only seems to work in swype mode, do you have to problem to?

anyone running villain 2.4.2? worth updating from 2.3.2?

Gh0stRider 08-05-2011 05:33 PM

7 day battery life. Wtf

36 hours is pretty damn good. The most I can get outta my SGS2 is around 30hours and that's a feat considering Gingerbread ROMs use more battery.
