yup you can turn on wifi no prob from the notification screen or in settings..

flight mode just disables voice and network data

I use K-9 mail for my shaw account..much better than the stock up cos it doesnt lag or force close on me lol

You wanna use it with your hotmail account?
If so, just use the build-in email app.
There is a trick to get emails pushed to your phone even with regular hotmail account.

When you set up the email box on the phone just choose manual setup after you fill in your email add and password.
Then choose Microsoft Exchange mail.
Use your email for email address for username and password stays same.
Exchange server us: m.hotmail.com

Voila!
Now you have your hotmail emails pushed to your phone.

People still use screen protectors? I keep my captivate in my pocket everyday at work, it gets bumped on all day long and I've yet to get one hairline scratch on the screen, gorilla glass is pretty decent

Needless to say, Invisible Shield is very easy to apply. Keep your hands moist with cold water and use a blowdryer to help mould the shield around tight corners. That's the best way to install it. Keep the shield warm so it moulds into all the little design and curves of the phone.

For those with the Ghost Armour, I assume it protects the whole phone. Does the back look a bit weird over the battery cover due to the fact that the battery cover isn't a flat back but instead have some ridges. Does the Ghost Armour make it look funky?

The cell kiosk in coquitlam center has some cases and protectors. by the food court. $19 for a case i got for $2 on eBay shipped with a free screen protector. Semi rigid gel case.virgin and bell also have cases but not cheap

I got a ghost armor screen protector last night. The guy was telling me they have a white carbon fibre type thing for the back which actually looked pretty sick.

However, for me it was a bit too slippery and I could see i slipping out of my hands with it on
