My t9 doesn't work.. Is it cuz I flashed villianrom? I didn't have problems before I flashed it.

Cant find my cf root file on xda forumns my model is I9100MUGKG2 and is a bell phone. Which one do i use? There 3 KG2 ones. Nvm just went out on a limb and SUCCESS. Now im completely loss on how to make my phone look nice

i have a rooted phone and planning to wipe everything on it and start fresh again (got this phone not long ago, got used to it. so just want to wipe it and reinstall the only apps i need). what do i need to do? would i have to re-root it? anything i should pay attention to?

yeah i was just wondering about the updating the cf root kernal part. How do i know if my kernal is compatible or not? Just rooted yesterday

omfg..if you slide your finger across the status bar...it adjusts the brightness!

Can someone explain that to me? How does it work? Do you have to pull down the bar first then swipe?

push until the drop down shows but doesn't drop completely then swipe left or right.

swipe right to increase brightness, swipe left to decrease

its not that bad. seems like there are lots of options.

they have their own store so you can download widgets, themes etc.

With villianrom, predictive text doesnt work.. anyone know any useful apps or fixes?

I've got a 8/10 Unlocked Galaxy S2 in black for sale. No major nicks or scratches, noting noticeable. Comes with box and all accessories besides headset. It disappeared into thin air =/. Im just seeing if theres any interest here. Will make a fs thread when im 100%. looking for 450

your brightness setting has to be set to manual. then slide down the status bar for just a little bit, hold it there for .5 seconds then you can change the brightness by swiping to left or right

had that problem with mine too. fixed it by downloading the canadian csc from here, [ROM+Guide]Official i9100 Firmwares - xda-developers, then flashing it with odin

just flashed villain 3.0. Me being a noob. Which kernal should i update too? Currently on KG2 4.1. Also where can i find the proper modem for it

^flashing villain rom automatically flashes ur kernel to ninphetamine 2.0.5 doesn't it?

ya but you can change the kernel afterwards

it told me to update my kernal (Step 3)

It doesn't come with a modem as they let you choose. If the current modem is working fine for you now I wouldn't bother changing it. BTW you're looking at an old ROM.

^ yeah i was just using the step to step guide of the old one to help me. Got villain 3.0. Everything seems to be working perfectly. The only thing is that when i scroll too much a blue light shows and i rather it be like the stock one.

Anyways another question ahaha. If i factory reset or anything like that, would i have to reflash?

Factory reset should restore back to stock VillainROM. If you want it stock from Bell you'll need to get a stock ROM.

Blue overscroll should be stock from Samsung however I can't remember as I nuked the stock ROM immediately lol.
