Does anyone know how to fix (or if there even is a fix) for the banding issue that is present in the sgs2? It's getting kind of annoying that I can see the transitions between different shades in certain apps/images. (Example: the galaxy nexus phase beam live wallpaper)

^I honestly didnt even notice the color banding on that wallpaper until you mentioned it.
I dont think there is a fix for it unfortunately :(

But is this an issue with just the SGS2, or all SAMOLED screens?

Some ppl say it's improved/fixed with cm7. I've never tried it though.

Apparently it is an issue only with samoled+ so far. Some people with the sgs1 posted pics of the same images and it did not have the banding effect.

I'm looking for a screen protector as the current one I have peels on the damn corners and collects dust.

Any recommended decent ones I can find without paying too much for it.

Also my damn barely there casemate cracked too, had to use krazy glue to glue it in the mean time LOL. Anywhere I can find decent cases online or locally?

There probably arent too many options for cases locally. I'd suggest the case mate pop, its not as sleek as the barely there but it wont crack on you thats for sure.

Try www.gocellular.ca they are an online retailer based in Vancouver. They don't do pick ups though.

After 1 or 2. I get at least 20hours usually.

im on day 2. Did a reboot, now charging it for tomorrow. Hope i get better results.

Noticed that my battery life is slowly decreasing and the time the phone is awake doesn't correspond that well with how my apps are set up or my screen being on.. I know when it syncs apps the phone turns "awake" but its happening very frequently..

Anyone else notice this?

Used to be able to get around 1 day 7 hours ~

Now it's around 15-20 with the same amount of usage. Haven't downloaded new apps either.

Anyone running BLN? Mine just decided to stop working although it's set to "enabled"

Do you guys find that BLN drains your battery significantly?
