i dont think i can do DLs twice a week as it takes 2-3 days for me to recover from them, and then another 2-3 days to recover from squats. if i squatted or DLed twice a week id never be able to shit. haha

Oooh I see. Yeah I only do Squats once a week rather than twice like Deadlifts lol. Its a greater load on my body doing Squats than Deadlifts for some reason.

RRxtar 12-13-2010 11:30 AM

I love both! Im going to start trying to get my recovery times down so I can adjust my schedual abit to get more heavy exercises in. Im happy with where my DL is heading but I really want to work on my squat

strykn 12-13-2010 12:14 PM

^ Same here, my squat is so pussy compared to DL , gotta get that shit upp!

Where do you guys buy coconut water from? I looked around a few places today and the best place so far was T&T. It was a 400ml can for $1.33. It's the one on the left side of the pictures. The one on the right has sugar added.

Since September, I've been working out 5 days a week, and you can see the resulting stretch mark mess in the pics...

http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/4581/photo676.jpg
(let me know if pics dont work...)

I've always worked triceps and bicep separately, 3 exercises of 3 x 8 reps each time I worked on them. Bicep twice a week and tricep twice a week... the red marks have been there since october but it hasn't faded at all, and it has been spreading lower and lower. I'm taking a break from gym til I figure this out

What's already there is too late to remove, whatever. I just don't want it to spread anymore, but I don't want to stop working out because I don't want muscles to shrink... Could anyone give me suggestions to how I should alter my exercise routine to keep my muscles active, but prevent further spread of stretch marks? Like high reps low weights? or the other way around?

I've been using cocoa butter but it doesn't seem to be all that effective.. :fuuuuu:

That's not the stuff you want. Look for coconut MILK or coconut CREAM. It's the fat of the coconut you want, not the sugar.

Anything to look for specifically in buying Glutamine?

Glutamine is great for bowel health and immune system, but not much in terms of muscle building. Taking lots of glutamine, you will almost never fart :) Unless you're eating stuff like quinoa bread :troll:

I have crazy stretch marks. After doing heavy split-squats I started getting massive stretch marks in my groin area. I hope they fade... :(

Not really racist! 12-13-2010 08:14 PM

what form of work out routine do you recommend in the mean time to keep them from shrinking but not progressing the stretch anymore?

Yeah its more so that you growing faster than your skin can grow. Correct me if I'm wrong.

SkinnyPupp 12-13-2010 08:50 PM

More commonly it's from having extra fat there and losing it quickly. The 'grow' thing usually only happens with total beginners (like ToeKnee above) or steroids users.

The colour will go away, but the scars will be there forever.

And men carry a lot more inner thigh fat than you'd assume, if you are in the >20% range.

there is no answer for that, if u workout u will grow, unless u want to stop working out then maybe they will go away, once your body gets use to the stretched skin and your muscle building they should go away, when u first start working out and start getting a solid foundation most ppl will get stretch marks, they will go away with time

TASTE OF THAI COCONUT MILK IS THE BEST ONE TO BUY IN VANCOUVER, it has the most fat and no additives like the cheap Chinese ones do that are 50 cents , the thai one all the fat it at the top, it does cost a bit more but the quality is way above, super store, super walmarts and whole foods and health food stores carry the taste of Thai, i will never go back to the cheap ones they are gross IMO

RRxtar 12-13-2010 09:22 PM
