DLing 400lbs is legit.

DLing 400lbs at 2am at a gym beside the bar after drinking all night while wearing jeans and showing up the gym owner who was talking shit, while DLing 150lbs more than you ever have before, after only having DLed for 8 months is REALLY legit.

JSilver 08-29-2010 11:17 PM

No offence, but lol. DLing 2am in the morning IN jeans. ESPECIALLY after drinking. For what purpose? Nonetheless, I guess that's impressive.

What gym and where at?

SkinnyPupp 08-30-2010 12:47 AM

Golds in Burnaby is good. That is where I'm going now. I wouldn't say 'good' rates, but I'm paying 42/mon

This thread is becoming awkward LOL

Anyone know a good routine for upper body/ chest. Seems like i do almost the same workouts at the gym whenever I go and now i'm never getting sore, nor am I seeing any improvements. Also any meal plans would be good. Seems like I eat a lot a few days straight then just go back to my old junk food routine. I think I need a strict plan to follow. Any help will be great. Thanks!

every time i go to the gym i do a diff chest work out
today was all inclines with bars next week it will be with dun bells, then i will do cable flys, then dunbells flys, its pretty easy to do a diff workout, look on sites with exercise go on you tube, half the time people are lazy asses and want other people to do the work for them

^^ haha yeah, i love when my friends spend a day with me and try to copy my work outs and diet and they leave my house like 2 hours later lol, dedication people

L0uie69 08-30-2010 08:43 PM

Educate your friends, not have them duplicate what you're doing. They need to know why they are doing what they are.

Whats the recommended time to bulk before cutting. I have been traveling for a year, so I`m heading back to the gym and as of now I weigh about 150 compared to 170 when I was bulking before I left. I`ve lost most of my large muscle mass, but reduced my body fat. I want a much leaner look than previously, so I was wondering how long is an appropriate time to bulk. Lets say I can get back to 170 in two months of a mix between muscle growth, fat and water retention, should I at least bulk for 4 months before cutting as my pure muscle growth after two months isn`t actually that large.

DC5-S 08-31-2010 01:15 AM

there's no recommended time, ppl usually bulk for 6 months

SkinnyPupp 08-31-2010 01:29 AM

losing 20 lbs in 1 year sounds impossible unless you were on steroids (or creatine)

DC5-S 08-31-2010 02:22 AM

chest tris tomo cant wait
