Thanks, that was a good read!
But the techniques they're explaining there sound more like if you're trying to look super dry and lean for a specific day?

Either way, I dont think I'm lean enough for any of those techniques to work just yet:(
For now I'm gonna drop down my carb intake significantly and try to stick to whole grains and brown rice and up my cardio.
I'm not going on a super strict extreme cut, I just wanna lose a bit of body fat

Hopefully I've taken a step in the right direction

I didn't even get the Beta Alanine tingling, so there's definitely not much in a scoop.

try 1 mr i jsut took it 2 mins ago and i feel it now the beta aline

yeah you are taking a step in the right direction, just make sure you workout the same like do the same workouts that would normally do, most people think they have to tip toe around the gym when cutting

im so fucking lazy this week. halfassed my way thru monday and havent been since. trying to go tonite but i dunno

RRxtar 08-27-2010 05:13 PM

so im sort of toying with the idea of taking training to the next level or at least a different level. but i dont really know how to get there.

i dont know if i want to start focussing on sport training (i play soccer) and kickboxing, or go hard in the gym.

ive been in the gym for 4 years. the first 2 years were pretty half assed with lots of long breaks so i dont really count them. its been a honest 20 months of heavy lifting and proper training and eating. i havent missed more than 4 days in a row in that time. and im usually in the gym 4 days a week. ive put on about 30lbs since i started. and about 15lbs in the last year and a half. im a naturally skinny kid.

im 27 in november. 5' 11.5 and 182-186lbs. i usually have a 6 pack showing unless im bloated, but i could probably lose a couple lbs. i could post pics i suppose...

id like to be a honest cut 190lbs by next summer.

eating more and lifting heavier arent exactly the answer because i eat a rediculous amount and lift fucking heavy. and i usually keep the intensity up too

i guess i will see what happens this fall. i usually lose weight/size over the summer as 10 hour days in 35* heat take alot out of me. and i usually end up putting on 5-10lbs of real solid mass in the fall. its sort of like all the working out i do in the summer catches up in the fall and i get a growth spurt.

the key to it will be that i have to keep the training enjoyable. i absolutely love my routine right now and i look forward to the gym everyday (except this week).

SkinnyPupp 08-27-2010 06:47 PM

My 2nd gym day of this 'cycle' is today, but I am contemplating putting it off until tomorrow. I am still sore as fuck, and didn't get much sleep because of it...

Oh well, I guess I'll tough through it, it's the first week anyway, only 3 lifts.

What sucks is that it takes 90 minutes of travel back and forth to do my 40-50 minute workout :(

I am a commuter now! :(

RRxtar 08-27-2010 08:03 PM

give it a couple weeks and you will be able to get into the cycle of your routine.

if you havent trained in a while it definitely takes a while for your body to get into it again. shit hurts for days

hal0g0dv2 08-27-2010 08:17 PM

shoulders and triceps today
did some traps at the end, over all pretty solid and quick workout no breaks lots of supersets

!Yaminashi 08-27-2010 08:19 PM

Halo didnt u say you were gonna post pics after you finished your cut?

SkinnyPupp 08-27-2010 08:19 PM

Taking my "ragNOrok" right now, and 800mg of ibuprofen. Hope it all kicks in just when I get to the gym :)

Will get to do deadlifts with a barbell for the first time in years! It's gonna fucken hurt though
