I hate legs because i cant even fucking sit down to shit for THREE days after. Altho I love me a good squat.

I dont really like doing abs either but I dont mind them as they are quick.

MarkyMark 09-15-2010 05:56 PM

Legs suck. Nothing like walking like an old man for two days after

Biceps. Slowest results for me.

mc25 09-15-2010 08:43 PM

Biceps for me too for slowest development. Ive done some toning, but I have had a hard time gaining height (I have naturally long biceps to start with, which also makes it look smaller I think). Second place, shoulders.

Just downloaded iFitness for the iPhone, I look forward to start doing some tracking with it.

mc25 09-15-2010 08:45 PM

I HATE….LOAAAAATH doing legs!

SkinnyPupp 09-15-2010 08:47 PM

There's no part I hate really, except when I am doing high rep work

sonick 09-15-2010 09:01 PM

Sick deadlift day today. Started off normal, then decided to see if I could reach my theoretical 1RM of 265. Not bad at 154lbs.

5x 225
5x 225
3x 245
1x 255
1x 265
5x 225

The_Situation 09-15-2010 09:44 PM

Nice bro. My deadlifts are terrible. I think its part because of my shitty grip.

BlackV62K2 09-15-2010 10:23 PM

Increased weight on all my leg exercises today. Will not be able to walk properly for the next day or 2 lol.

Jay Cutler training legs: http://videos.bodybuilding.com/watch...rs-leg-workout. Ignore the MuscleTech marketing lol. 1.5 weeks till Mr. O. I hoping Jay takes it again.

m4k4v4li 09-15-2010 11:11 PM

duno how anyone can hate another excersize more than squats. really have to tell myself to stop being a bitch before squats.

SkinnyPupp 09-15-2010 11:12 PM

I love squats, feel so manly afterwards

My protocol is to squat until i get really dizzy. Arnold says he would squat till he passed out, wake up 10 minutes later, then squat some more. But i'd rather put up with all that so im not another chicken legged gym idiot. I dont understand this obsession with bicep curls, the only workout they get is on back days. Giant facepalm to anybody here who has a "bicep day"

Now for the favorite excersises: Bench (barbell/dumbell), dumbell shoulder press, barbell back row, t-bar row, jm press

amen. the only bicep work i do is when it's part of a pullup or a row.

the only good thing good about bicep curls is that all the monkeys in my gym only do bicep curls. so that always leaves the squat rack free for me. except when they do curls there.

SkinnyPupp 09-16-2010 01:41 AM

Even funnier than bicep curls are all the bicep curl machines :lol

I looove squat days and I looooove deadlift days even more! Overhead press is also another favorite of mine.

Something about picking up a big bar of weight just feels awesome.

JSilver 09-16-2010 08:34 AM

It feels good doing Squats or DL's. Like SkinnyPupp said, makes you feel more manly. Or mainly like you just accomplished something. I like to call it "murdering the weights" when I get a good workout from an exercise. Lol.

hal0g0dv2 09-16-2010 09:01 AM

yeah cardio and no carb day whooooooo

SkinnyPupp 09-16-2010 09:09 AM

hal0 I thought you were laying dead next to your xbox right now

hal0g0dv2 09-16-2010 10:52 AM

^^ haha working out still comes first

wait...they actually have a freakin machine for bicep curls? or are you talking about the preacher curl thing?

rslater 09-16-2010 03:36 PM

I was at costco today and their was a guy promoting some protien powder stuff and blenders. I overheard him say that putting the protein powder directly into a blender at a high speed destroys the protein and you should only be shaking it in a container? Truth or bullshit?

sonick 09-16-2010 03:36 PM

lol bullshit.. "You'll bruise the protein molecule"

Volvo-brickster 09-16-2010 03:37 PM

Switched gyms to Good Life fitness

my god...my life is beginning with dumbbells 80+ and up and a true squat rack !

RRxtar 09-16-2010 03:59 PM

honestly, using a 'bicep curl machine' aka a preacher curl is way fucking better for you than doing a regular barbell or dumbell curl. EVERY SINGLE PERSON cheats with curls i dont care who you are or how good your form is. preacher curl locks your shoulders so you focus on your biceps exclusively

and, imo, not ever working our biceps because you think you're cooler than all the people who do is retarded. thats like saying you dont work abs because they are only good for the beach.

mc25 09-16-2010 04:54 PM

lol. I have an "arm" day, which works bis, tris, forearms etc. I couple this usually with another group, like abs, back, or legs. (never couple it with chest though)

strykn 09-16-2010 05:46 PM

Came back from the chiropractor , herinated disc very minor... Can't squat/deadlift for a month or lift heavy.... can be back in the gym next week doing cardio and light weight, thank god it is very very minor :eek5x:
