The guy who used to buy all the Apple stuff I could get on day1 told me that they aren't buying anything because China Mobile and Unicom hasn't gotten any nano SIM made. And you can't cut regular sim/micro sim into nano.

sign on to "my rogers" and choose "device reservation". choose which store you want to pick it up at and they will send you an email when it will be avail. there's a $40 refundable fee when you do reserve.

my question is for pre-ordering through apple. do you have to pay for the phone right away or can do you a carrier upgrade through apple? anyone know?

i just spoke to retentions and upgraded my 6GB data plan to the LTE plan and the agent said for bc, the pre-ordering for rogers starts at 7 am?

7 am est so 4 am pst.

thats what i asked her, but she said its 7 am local time for each time zone, which i thought was weird but thats what she kept insisting...

just thought id pass that info on.

uhh ... sorry if this is a noob, question, for Fido Phone Reservation ... does it matter if I wake up at 7am on the dot to reserve it or I can do it at like noon? Do they reserve on a first come first serve basis?

Well if you really want one on or very close to the launch date than I would stay up and try to reserve one early or else you could be waiting because i've read that Rogers/Fido themselves are worried their supply and how many phones they'll have on launch.
