Anyone got any idea of unlocking ios 6 on iphone 4?

I looked at a iPhone 5 that a coworker showed me at work today and it had a dent in the back panel, not sure if he knew or cared but considering he only had it two days that's pretty bad lol

i just filed for exchange at a store, will take 2-3 days. i suggest users that get it in the mail to open the sealed box in the apple store, u have to go there to get a sim anyways. the guy said as soon as we open it its treated as wear and tear but he'll do it anyways like he's doing me a favor. i didn't even peel the plastic or turn it on yet.

Anyone done a search for Science world yet? Lol. A lot of streets don't even come up on search. Lol.

Apparently some of annacis island is a park. Today I have to go to Vancouver Pentecostal church. Oh apparently there are two locations on the same street!

So I went to exchange the dented iPhone at Coquitlam Center and they told me I have to return it back to Apple online and order another one and wait a month. So I went to Richmond Center and they will exchange it by sending it back to Apple for me. I understand returns have to be sent back online if I ordered it online but I only want to exchange it for one that's not dented. I think this may be the last time I'm buying an iPhone. Or I might just send this one back for a full refund and not buy any more iPhone.

The heck? The good thing about Apple is their customer care and how easily they can replace ur phone right away.

I had a locked to fido iphone 4 and exchanged it twice. They gave me a replacement one on the spot.

^ its because he has an unlocked iPhone. I believe that most apple store don't carry unlocked ones now because they don't sell them (unless its sent to their store for customer pick up)

I guess that is the only downside of wanting an unlocked phone.

Waiting for mine on my Fido plan to come in. Says the order is ready to be shipped

For you guys with the shitty battery life, did it get better after a few charges? Mine's sitting at 80% now, after 7 hours with some phone calls and browsing. It used to hit 50% after just 4-5 hours the first while (got it on the 21st). LTE's off.

its been pretty awesome on my 5. lasts way longer than my 3gs did.

check that you dont have a million things in the background running notifactions and push msgs.

Shitty? Its been good. 4-5hours of hard usage gaming + browsing. All day for regular use.

Otherwise, just whatsapp is a battery killer with all the data pulling.

If you turn LTE off, itll give you another 15-20% battery life :badpokerface:

I might just pick up a Samsung phone when my contract expires. Too many disappoitment in the iphone5. Since Steve pass away apple is getting worse and worse.

I haven't noticed any significant drop in battery life on my 4S since going to iOS 6

No they do carry unlocked phones. It's just that they lock it just before giving it to you.

If I didn't have 2 years left on my contract then I would buy a locked one from the Apple store. When the iPhone 4 came out, fido allow early upgrade of 14 months so they stacked another 36 months onto my contract. A lot of people are still under contract because of the iPhone 4 and the carrier's 3 year contract. That's was 2 years ago so that's why there's no line up at the Apple store like there was for the iPhone 4. To buy out my contract and buy the phone from fido I would have to pay $828 after tax only to let them put me in contract for 3 years. Makes more sense to buy an unlocked one for $895 and finish the remaining 2 years that I have left which by then the iPhone 6 will be out and I can renew if I wanted to.

Just got one. It's pretty damn fast.

I like it. Got it at the apple store, the first phone got a ding in it so the guy was great and got me another one.

Has anyone started using the passbook yet?

I downloaded my cineplex app but it doesn't show on there?

That situation didn't happen to me or else I would lose my shit on the apple store...I did the same thing you did bought my iphone5 online got it opened it up noticed a ding/scratch on mine made a genius appointment at Coquitlam center got the guy to exchange my phone on spot. I noticed the first iPhone he showed me had more marks then mine so he went to the back brought 3 more phone and I picked the best one out of the bunch! Customer service was awesome sorry to hear you got the shit end of the stick on that one.

Ya I read your post from a few days ago saying how great the service you got from Apple Coquitlam was so that's why I made an appointment there.

I'm not picky so if there was minor scratches on the band than I wouldn't mind it but I had a dent and a pin hole on the back case. If I caused it then I wouldn't care either cause it's my fault. Also I just found out there's something loose inside the phone by shaking it next to my ear. :sweetjesus:
