ah, ok. so there's wiggle room if they want to do less than 5 due to the wording. well, if we're going with recent history, Perron was suspended 6 games for his cross-check to the face. we'll see if DoPS can actually be consistent for once.

mb_ 02-12-2024 07:39 PM

It's all for show to make us think he'll get 5+ games :lol :troll:

Tim Budong 02-12-2024 08:17 PM

lmao. talk shit get hit...
while i find the EN to be absolutely hilarious.
Riely could have handled it better than cross check the guy across the face lol.

I wont say he is in the wrong, at the end of it all, it was pretty disrespectful to some degree hahah.

whitev70r 02-13-2024 02:49 PM

Time out for 5 games on Reilly. Go and sit in the corner.

bobbinka 02-13-2024 04:20 PM

Swedish line tonight, Eliases Hoglander

Hondaracer 02-13-2024 04:22 PM

That’s a very small line

Size hasn’t really been an issue up to this point but I do have concerns with the lineup if we were go go up against a Vegas or Colorado

spoon.ek9 02-13-2024 04:29 PM

Phil "the thrill" Kessel is in town. Conditioning stint with Abby and if they like what they see they'll sign him I guess? Dunno how much he can still bring to a team right now.

HonestTea 02-13-2024 05:29 PM

PHIL THE THRILL gonna make our PP2 better lol

whitev70r 02-13-2024 05:30 PM

^ Phil the thrill would be just to keep the locker room light. And to officially pay for a prankster.

If Kessel becomes a Canuck, he will like playing at Rogers Arena.

Why? Phil can alway get some hot dogs at the nearby Costco. :lawl:

Speaking of hot dogs, what happened to that mentally challenged/retarded fan with the two train tunnels for nostrils?

spoon.ek9 02-13-2024 07:11 PM

solid victory tonight

some defensive gaffs but did enough to win the game pretty easily. would have been nice if Garly could have hit that ENG :lol

Joshua with the Gordie Howe hat trick tonight too!

an extra option to put pucks in the net is always nice to have. injuries will happen.

mb_ 02-13-2024 08:01 PM

Let's go Phil the Thril!!!!!!!!

Will probably sign for league minimum, won't cost us any assets and would be great to a have a presence like his in the locker room

spoon.ek9 02-14-2024 03:21 PM

My only concern was losing one of our current players on waivers in order to make room for Phil. Hopefully they can figure out a way to get him in without that happening. Also, no guarantees he gets signed anyways. They have to see what he can do at the age of 36 and having not played hockey since Apr 2023.

bobbinka 02-14-2024 06:16 PM

For now, they can send down Woo without losing anyone. After Soucy comes back though, my guess would be PDG.

whitev70r 02-14-2024 08:23 PM

Must have been a disappointing couple of days for Woo ... got called up but no real game action.

spoon.ek9 02-14-2024 08:36 PM

I think it's the first time he's ever been recalled to even practice with the team. It's a baby step but I'm sure he appreciates it to some degree. Even if he doesn't get to play this season, there's definitely more opportunity next season and any looks by coaching staff now can only help his case for later on.

Kessel needs plenty of work to improve his conditioning. -looks gassed at many times during a practice in Abbotsford.

-not a surprise since he has not played a game since April 2023:

Dakota is out of the game today with an upper body injury, sounds like he hurt his hand in the fight last game.

spoon.ek9 02-15-2024 03:34 PM

That was my guess too. This is a good test for our depth/options at forward though. Tocc can play around with the lines tonight. Injuries are bound to happen come playoffs.

MG1 02-15-2024 06:06 PM
